Teenager

Being a teenager sucks
Emotions are everywhere and anywhere
At the same time angry, sad and happy
Filled with anxiety and curiosity
Wanting to learn but being stupid
Wanting to work but being lazy
Wanting to live a life but being lonely
Wanting friends but shy and scared
Wanting to be beautiful but not to care
Wanting to love but emotionally scared
How can we be ready for the world
When we can't be ready for ourselves
How can we prosper in life
When we can't see ourselves in the future
Girls cake their faces in make-up
Looking like dolls to be beautiful
And guys have to work out constantly
To even be considered handsome
Where muscles and fake faces fill the halls
Everyone else isn't remembered at all
Every nerd, geek, "fatty", and idiot
Are forgotten and the only people seen
Are the jocks, and the hoes, the big butts
And the muscly arms
Welcome to high school
Where if your in the unlucky four
Prepare to be forgotten forever
Don't expect much more
