Chapter 12

ADDIES POV

I sat in the back seat of Emma's car as she drove me back to my apartment. It's been two and a half weeks since the accident and they finally let me come home from the hospital. I laid my head back on the seat and closed my eyes trying to ignore all the pain running through my body.

I jumped awake to the car turning off and Emma getting out of the car. I sat up trying to wake up before Emma came around to my door and opened it. She helped me out and into the wheelchair the hospital is requiring me to be in while I recover.

When we got inside Emma took me to my room and helped me into my bed just before we heard the door open.

"Who's that?" I said straining my voice.

"I don't know hold on." Sge said walking out.

"Is she asleep?" I heard someone say from the other room. I realized it was Harry. A few seconds later he walked into my room smiling.

"Ads..." He said smiling and sitting down on the edge of my bed.

"I'll stay with her- help out while she recovers." Harry said turning around and looking at Emma.

"Oh- no really that's okay I was gonna stay around for a little while and make sure she's okay anyways."

"No really I want to. And Aubrees here to help out too. It shouldn't be a problem."

"Okay... Alright- But I'm gonna stop by a few times to make sure everything good?"

"Yea." Harry said nodding his head.

"Alright. Bye- I'll call you." Emma said walking over to me kissing me on the forehead then walking out.

"Do you need anything?" Harry said putting his hand on my neck.

"No I'm okay, I really just want to sleep."

"Okay. Get some rest." Harry said softly kissing me turning off the light and walking out of the room.

"Addie... Addison." Harry said waking me up.

"You need to take these." He said as I saw him holding out a few pills.

I had recognized them from when the doctors gave them to me in the hospital. I slightly lifted up my head while Harry helped me and took them laying back down. I slightly smiled at him and patted the other side of the bed motioning him to lay with me.

"I'm so sorry that I got you into this mess Ads." Harry said breaking the silence.

"Stop-" I said cutting him off.

"No Addie it was my fault I- I don't even know what to say..."

"Don't say anything." I said trying to lean toward him, but stopped feeling pain ache through my body. Harry then leaned over to me and softly kissed me.

"Get some more rest. I'll be here when you wake up." He said smiling and walking out.

When I woke up I carefully rolled over and went through my phone waiting for Harry to come in before I finally tried to shout out his name.

"Addison?" He said rushing into my room with his eyes wide open.

"Are you okay?" He continued.

"I'm fine, just was wondering where you were." I said smiling as he walked over to the bed.

"Oh alright. Um I told Aubree I'd go grab some things- She said she hadn't been shopping for the week yet sooo I'll be back soon."

"Is she here?"

"Hmm mm. She came in while you were sleeping."

"Oh okay. Don't be too long." I said as Harry was walking out.

When he left I rolled back over on my phone before getting bored after a few minutes. I struggled to slip out of bed holding onto everything I could trying to get to my bathroom. Finally when I got there I went and crawled back to my bed.

I sat up and took a few deep breaths trying to make myself forget about all of the pain I was in. After a few moments of sitting there I heard my phone start to buzz. I flipped the blankets over trying to find it before it fell onto my lap. I looked at my phone screen more confused as I've ever been.

"Mom?" I said answering the phone.

"Hello Addison. It's lovely to finally hear your voice."
