I woke up screaming his name. I could feel the hot sweat drenching me. I never had a nightmare like that before. Never woke up screaming. Never needing comfort like I did right now. I was hyperventilating as I felt a hand rub my back.
"I'm here Roxy." He soothed. I looked at Harry's concerned face and relaxed. "Want to talk about it?" He asked. I shook my head no and laid back down, but he didn't follow this time. "Roxy this is the third time since you fell asleep."
I was shaking as I reached out and clasped his hand in mine. I gently pulled him to me and waited til I heard him fall asleep. I couldn't tell him every time I close my eyes I see him die. Every time I close my eyes I see him get tortured in front of me telling me how it's all my fault. I sigh knowing it's true if I didn't let my emotions get the better of me, my need for a normal life, he'd be safe at his school along with Rebecca by now. Instead Collin is doing our job alone and Harry is trapped in a small cabin with me in constant danger. I slowly crawled out of bed knowing I should let him get some sleep and padded to the sofa in the living room. I pulled out my sketch pad and started drawing.
"Hey." I heard Harry yawn. I looked up to see it was already daylight outside. "I didn't hear you wake up."
"I never went to sleep." I said moving to close my sketch book.
He leaned over me. "What are you drawing?"
"Nothing." I lied. He went to move for it, but even injured I was quicker.
"Ah, come on Roxy." He said leaning even further forward. I sighed and opened up my sketch book showing him the drawing. It was of the waterfalls that we went to yesterday. "That's beautiful." He whispered staring. I closed the book and walked back into my room with him close behind me. "Don't you think you should rest?" He said worriedly.
"Naw. I think we should head out." I said rifling through my closet.
"Out?" He asked. "I think your too injured for a hike Roxy..."
"Not a hike." I said briskly. " I was thinking we should head to town."
He gave me a crazy look. "To town?! You almost die and you want to go back out there!" I ignored his dramatics and walked into the closet once I found what I was looking for.
"Fuck!" I cursed after trying again and giving up. I walked back out to a very curious looking Harry.
"You ok?" He asked. I nodded.
"I'm just having problems changing......" I trailed off trying to think of a better way.
"Let me help." He suggested. I looked at him warily. "Oh come on Roxy, it's just like a bathing suit." He mocked me.
I glared. "This is different." I stated.
"How so?" He asked innocently. I went to comment but stopped. I couldn't just say that it's different because now after realizing I'd die for you that I might have feelings for you. Do people do that? I mentally groaned. This is where attending an assassin program for all boys sucked. I was never sure how most girls acted outside. I've seen a few movie's, but let's face it I'm not one of those girls.... Am I?
"Just come here." He said impatiently. He grabbed the red dress out of my hands and slowly took my shirt off careful of my wound. His finger tips brushed my bare skin a few times making me want to shutter, but instead I focused on his intense look. He grabbed my dress.
"I can do the rest." I whispered. I'm not sure if he heard me or not as he delicately slipped the dress over me. He slowly walked behind me and tied the dress in the back. I held my breathe as he reached under and pulled my pants to mid thigh. He motioned for me to sit down and I did. We locked eyes and he pulled my pants off.
