There was silence and after a while she wanted to ask a question: "Is it not an odd thing to sacrifice yourself dying in pain getting eaten like a prey?"
The dragon smiled. "As a tiger I used to not understand it just like you are now. When you become a dragon and take so many lives you want to pay it back. Death is the last experience you can have and therefore it is your last chance to understand life. You either understand it or else you have wasted one."
"That was a bit of a tough lesson for a predator." Said the tiger as they laughed together.
