Hell or Heaven

Chapter 1

I hit the hard pavement as I was attacking a giant monster. The claws as sharp as a needles tip, its head like a wolf, his legs and feet like a hyena's, his breath like garlic and onions combined. So it is pretty stinky and it made me want to throw up. The look of the monster, so terrifying that it would scare anyone who saw it or give that person a heart attack. I stood up as fast as I could and scrambled for my swords and lit them with angelfire and attacked. I dash, slash and dive trying to not get killed and to kill the monster before that would happen. I didn't know where I am or where my Guardian is but I knew that I would be in trouble if I didn't do something and fast. "Preliator you are finished" the monster snarls and then he dived for me.

I woke up screaming my scream a high pitched noise, I was so full of sweat that I felt sticky and unclean. In the next moment my mom came bursting in the door and looks at me in shook then asks me if I was ok.

"Yes mom I am ok it was just a bad dream nothing to worry about." I tell her taking a deep breath. She came over, gave me a peck on the cheek then turns around and leaves. I could tell that she is worried about me and I couldn't blame her. I fell back on to the pillow and thought about what happens next with me in the dream, I tried to sleep again but it didn't work so I watched a movie. At 7 am I stood up and got ready for school. I was meeting Sindy before school started to go over our project for English grabbing all my stuff I made my way downstairs to the kitchen where my mom was cooking at the stove, the smell of pancakes hits me instantly and my mouth begins to water. She asks me if I slept well the rest of the night after my nightmare which I didn't want anyone to know about otherwise mom would put me into a therapist office again. I lied to her and told her that I slept fine. I eat my breakfast grab my stuff and went to meet up with Sindy. Sindy is 5'5" she has brown hair with highlights in and a mix of blue-green eyes. Sometimes she decides to dye her hair it looks weird with her eyes but otherwise she is ok.

"Vivian I thought that you would never show up". Sindy says as she saw me coming.

"Sorry Sindy I kind of got hung up on something." I say with an apology.

"Oh that is ok. Here this is our script to say I finished it last night, here the actual presentation is on the USB stick." She replies. Then we walk the rest of the way to school. I felt a presence behind me. I instantly knew it was Luke, he put his hands around my hips turning me around to face him. Luke is about 5'9" tall, hazel dark brown hair, his eyes are emerald green and a tribal tattoo that stretches all the way down his right arm. I knew Luke ever since the first day of high school. I like him he is strong, handsome but also a little shy.

"Hey Vivian so did you sleep well?" He asks me.

"No I had a nightmare and didn't like it at all." I reply.

"What kind of nightmare was it Vivian?" He asks me.

"I just don't want to talk about it." I tell him. He had a concerned look on his face but it disappeared as soon as it appears, we then c0ntinue our way to school, with Sindy talking nonstop. At school it was pretty boring, I didn't know what we were talking about, I was so distracted thinking about the dream to pay any attention to what the teacher is saying. As I was looking out the window I try to put my mind to it what would had happen when the reaper leaped for me. The world started to turn and I black out. The last thing I remember is Luke catching me before I fell.

I am walking along a corridor that was wet and muddy; I had summoned my swords and lit them with angelfire so that I could see where I was going. The place seemed really old and ready to come down by the next strong storm; I found stairs at the end of the hall that were half broken and half together. Looking up the stairs I knew that it would be a dangerous climb up, so cautiously I walked up the stairwell then under me when I was already pretty high the step gave in and I almost fell. I caught myself and jumped up then I ran the rest of the stairs up until I slammed into the door. As the door didn't seem to want to open I took my sword and broke the door in half. On the other side of the door I found myself in a room full of vir reapers and they all went and attacked me with grinning faces and saying things like "I am going to kill you" or "you are mine" I raised my swords and fought them all. I slashed and pried off there attacks until there was no reaper left after I defeated them all I went on and found a room where two reapers were playing cards and there was a boy tied up on the wall and his power was very week so I suspected that there was a spell around him that weakened them. I went in and did a sneak attack and cut the head of the first vir, the other thru the heart before they even noticed I was there. I turned around to the boy that hung on the wall and I was right there was a spell around him that weakened his power so I couldn't figure out how strong or powerful he really was. He pleaded me to rescue him but I didn't know who he was or what he was. I asked him what his name was. He told me that his name us Luke and that he got ambushed by a group of vir reapers.
