Hell or Heaven

Chapter 6

A smile of happiness, relief, freedom and so much more flowed over me as I was finally able to fly again. Luke smiled at me and was also happy. I stopped and looked at Nate who had trouble keeping up with us. I flew back to Nate and told him to bring the truck home then I gave him a hug and said thanks. I flew back to Luke and we flew back to Nate's house. On the way there see didn't see the car drive up to Nate's house or pull onto the driveway and that Sindy stepped out as we landed in the backyard and as she went on the hill beside the house.

"Omg what the heck Vivian why do you have wings and Luke does too." Sindy screamed from the top of the hill. I retracted my wings and Luke did the same so we were back to normal. I walked up to Sindy and I put a hand on her shoulder she shrugged it off and just looked at me in disbelief.

"How long were you planning to keep it from me and why the heck would you drop out of school and leave me and all your other friends alone?" She asks as she stated to cry.

"It is not what you think we protect the innocent people from the demonic reapers and from Lucifer." I tell her as I was trying to calm her down. Luke came to me I looked at him and he nodded he let his wings spread wide so they were at the full length. In the sunlight they glowed gold brown. Sindy looked up at Luke and then at his wings. She stood up and reached out her hand to touch them. I saw Luke hesitate but then he took a step forward and Sindy touched them. Her eyes went wide then she turned to me and said that she would like to see my wings too. I let my wings spread wide the same as Luke had done.

"Wow those at so pretty." She says and in that moment Marcus and Tina came out of the grim with their wings spread wide. They couldn't see Sindy she was behind our wings.

"So it worked transforming you into your true self." Marcus says in a happy voice. In that moment Sindy came from the spot behind my wings. She looked at Marcus then to Tina and the back to me.

"They are more of you?" She asks me I nodded. She went to Markus and he let her touch his wings. When he looked back up he saw me giving him a dark look that probably scared the crap out of him. He gave me that silly smile of his that I knew too well it meant that he was always up to no good in that moment he grabbed Sindy and lifted her off and into the sky. I heard her scream but then it stopped. I shot up after Marcus, Luke and Tina followed me. Within a few seconds I caught up to him. Sindy was smiling as she overlooked the whole entire town. In that moment a demonic reaper showed up a few yards away. I summoned my swords and lit them with fire and pointed it at him. Then I turned my head to Marcus and said to bring her down on the ground now. Luke was already at my side sword in hand and game face on. Marcus shoot down put Sindy on the ground and shoot back up.

"Hello Preliator I have come to finish you of." He says in a weird voice like he is trying to act all scary.

"Yah well you have to get thru me first." Luke says to him then he attacked. The vir reaper didn't know what was happening because one moment he could see him and the next moment Luke's hand was around his neck and the reaper struggled to get himself free which Luke intended on doing. I went over to where Luke had the guy and pulled up my sword I touched it to his arm and he started to scream. Tell my sister that I am waiting for her also tell her to meet me at the abandoned park at midnight in three days so we can settle our score. I lifted my sword and let it vanish now go and tell her. I motioned Luke to let him go but he hesitated a bit then did. The vir reaper automatically vanished. I went back to the ground in tears. Luke reached me first before Sindy could. He picked me up and lifted me up into the sky and into the grim. We flew for a long time thru the sky until we stopped I looked around and I kind of remembered where I was. It was a peaceful place. Trees telling stories from the wind, the water shimmering in the afternoon sun, birds singing a melody. I looked up at Luke and he smiled at me.
