The queen smiled at me after I gave her my answer.
"You also have to decide what to do about your jobs. If you're going to stay in Britain, you won't need them. Catherine, William's wife, I'm sure will be willing to help you with anything you may need," she told me.
I breathed out a sigh of relief. I really didn't want to keep working the three jobs I had. I wanted to learn more about my family. But I also had learned through my jobs about independence from others. My adoptive parents tried to give me money when things were tight, but I always refused. I just wanted to do things on my own. Now that I knew who my mothers parents were, I could rest a little easier. Now came the harder part: my fathers parents. But I could do that later. Taking a deep breath, I gave the Queen my answer.
"I would like to stay in Britain."

I know it's been a long time since I updated. I was taking care of my sick father the past year and wanted to concentrate on that as well as try to write this. He passed away 2 days after Christmas, so I've been taking my time with things in general.
