(a/n: I hadn't intended on an epilogue, but it was requested :D  WARNINGS: Mentions of labor, birth and babies.)

"Excuse me for a moment," Castiel said to his class as his cell phone rang for the third time in 15 minutes. Taking his phone his pocket, Castiel saw Sam's name on the screen. He stepped away from his podium and toward the door. "What is it, Sam?" Castiel asked, slightly annoyed at the interruption. "Cas? Dean told me to call. He's taking Y/N to the hospital now and I'm on my way to get Claire." Castiel's face cracked a smile. "Really? It's happening?" Castiel swore he could hear Sam's grin as well. "Yep. Good thing I was here visiting Dean. So cancel the rest of your classes and get your ass to the hospital pronto!"

Castiel quickly hung up the phone and turned back to his students. "Class dismissed!" He cried before grabbing his coat and running from the room. He sent out a quick email to the rest of his students, cancelling class for the day and sprinted to his little car. He couldn't get out of the parking lot fast enough and just prayed he wouldn't get pulled over as he sped off.

Sam had just entered the lobby with Claire when Castiel arrived. "Do you know where she is?" Sam chuckled at his friend and shook his head. It only took a moment to find out and the three went racing down the corridors. It didn't take them long to find you. "You better get my husband here NOW, Winchester or I swear to Chuck I will take your hand off!" you were screaming as Castiel approached your room.

"Is that Aunt Y/N?" Claire asked, her voice laced with tears. Castiel laughed. "It is. She's probably in a lot of pain." Claire began pouting. "Jess was the same when she had DJ," Sam told her, "It's pretty painful to have a baby, Claire but it'll be worth it when your little cousin is here." Claire's tears where flowing freely now. "I don't want a cousin if it's gonna hurt Aunt Y/N! It's not fair!"

Castiel opened his mouth to answer, but was interrupted but your voice crying out, "CASTIEL NOVAK! GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW!" Castiel looked at Sam who nodded. "I'll take care of Claire. Get in there before she really blows a gasket." Castiel ran into the room where Dean was holding your hand, wincing in pain. "Thank God. Get over here, Cas before she really does take my hand off." You glared at Dean, but let go of his hand. Castiel immediately took his place and gave you a smile. "Don't you dare give me that look, Castiel. This is all your fault," you said as Dean left the room and the doctor came in.

Sometime later, you were covered in sweat but there was a smile on your face that wouldn't disappear as you held your baby boy in your arms. "He's so tiny," you whispered, afraid to break the serenity in the room. Castiel pressed a kiss to your temple. "He is perfect, Y/N." A knock on the door tore your gaze away from your newborn.

"UncleCas? Aunt Y/N?" You gestured for Claire to come closer. She walked slowlyover to the bed and Castiel picked her up so she could get a better look."Are all babies that small?" You laughed. "Not all of them, butsome are." Claire nodded and stated, "It looks like a babydoll." Castiel gave her a squeeze. "He does, doesn't he? But we mustbe careful with him." Claire carefully leaned in and pressed a very gentlekiss to the baby's forehead. "Hi. I'm Claire. I'm your cousin and I'mgonna teach you all sorts of stuff. Like how to play the right way and how tohave tea parties and movies nights." You couldn't help but smile at youryoung niece and she looked down at the baby. You and Castiel were already inlove with him and, from the look on her face, you could tell Claire was too.G
