Draco's POV:
I made my way down the carriages to sit with my fellow Slytherins. They spoke, I answered, but my thoughts were else where.
"Look, it's snowing." Pansy said with little excitement. I looked out of the window to see the snow falling gracefully, creating a soft layer of white on the ground.
"Draco. You seem distracted." Pansy looked to Blaise who nodded slightly in agreement.
"I'm fine." I spoke bluntly as the train came to a halt. I was quick to rise from my seat, grab my case and exit the train, I was just in time to make brief eye contact with Hermione. She always looked her best in the snow. The crystals embroiled them self in her hair, her cheeks turning a rosy red, her eyes brighter than usual and I couldn't help but smile at her as she smiled momentarily before carrying on with Harry and Ron.Hermione's POV:
As I looked away from the smile Draco and I had shared, I was concerned that Ron had seen. Luckily, Ron was too busy discussing his family's trip to Egypt with Harry, who seemingly didn't remotely care. Hogwarts was delicately iced with snow, the white crystals had formed beautifully intricate patterns over the school in all of its glory. As Ron and Harry progressively got further away I noticed Draco walking beside me.
"You look cold." Draco analysed me.
"Is that a compliment?" I don't look up at him.
"It's a fact." He smirked. He passed me a Slytherin sweater. I examined it before looking up at him.
"You don't think it's going to be obvious that we're friends if I'm wearing YOUR Slytherin sweater?" I laughed slightly.
"Fine, be cold." He laughed slightly.
"Hey about that compliment you mentioned earlier" he began and I rolled my eyes slightly. Draco was no stranger to flirty compliments.
"You look beautiful." He said, looking forward at the castle. I smiled slightly, looking down.
"Shut up Malfoy." I muttered with a smile before rushing ahead to Harry and Ron, looking back to see Draco gazing after me with a smile.
