Hannah's POV

Previously.

I am only two steps from seeing the truth.

My hand grasps door knob.

And I am standing the the doorway.

And what i see isn't what i was expected...

Actually this would have been Never Expected....

"...Hannie?" The moment causes tears to rim my eyes.

Why is he here?

Is he crying?

I cant stand to see him like this.

I soon see his teared face turn into anger. As he heads towards me i stubble back terrified that he might hurt me as he did before.

"Please stop."i weep as his frightening smile hitches my breath.

I am hyperventilating.

Short words,Hannah.

Long breathes.

My rules are broken.

I am not breathing and words are jumbling out as a mess.

I hit a tall bookshelf behind me.

"Conner please.Please Stop."i wince as he snatches my waist and I can't seem to find Leo but i just heard them talking.

"Come on i wont hurt you."He has a grin on his face as he grips my chin do i look into his deep blue eyes specked with green.

CLICK.

The door opens.

"LOUIS!!!"I screech terrified what Conner might do.

"Annie?"He looks towards

A glare between them seems as if a war has happened the between two people.

They look at each other as if is a threat.

"Back off ,dude."He is obviously drunk.

Oh God damn it.

As Louis continues to slur some other words as i study the room.

I am scared for my life and Louis is drunk and my step brother is trying to get to me.😨My facial expression is full of mixed emotions.

Fright.Anger.Hurt.

As Lou carries on blabbing he throws his fist succeeding to almost break my Ex-tormenter's nose.

My phone goes off during the loud fight.

I see that it is Annie trying to answer me after all my calls and texts for help.

"HANNAH!What is happening!?Whats going on!!"She almost shouts loud enough to break my ear drums.

"Sh.sh.Its ok.Calm down its just.Well Conner dropped by to say hi,"i whisper.

"Hannah!Don't even.LET ME SPEAK TO HIM."she loudly commands.

"He is kind of unconscious."i cringe.

"Get out of there."she says lastly before hanging up.

I look safe.I mean no one can hurt me now.

Then a thought pops into my head.

Where is Leo?

10:37pm

7 hours later.

I'm standing at Armani's door. I can't handle this anymore. I hear Armani's voice.

"I'll get it!"

She pops her head through.

"Oh god."Is all that comes out of her mouth.

My hair is a reck.My sweatshirt has food stains & I bet my sloppy outfit makes my eyes look dark and droopy.

"Armani.Where is Hannah?"i continue to play off the act.

"She went out about 5 hours ago to look for you."She rolls her eyes.

Oh god dammit Armani. Not now.

I Hate how you hate my sister. But we love each other.

"She is probably missing because of you.Hannah is the sweetest girl on earth you should be happy she even cares for a Nasty ,Misfit ,Drunk like you."Mani pushes me as I am holding back defending Annie.

Only if.

"SHUT UP!Just shut your freaking mouth.Hannah is my sister.She is the best and you have no right to call me those things.Maybe if you knew who I-was you would care.I don't drink for partying or pleasure I drink the pain away because brats like you don't seem to like me even in my nicest days.I care for my sister and she cares for me& don't you EVER think she wont.And just don't talk about my sister or me EVER."I turn to see a scared Annie.

She is frozen.

Her face is flushed.

I run to hug her.Her grip around me shows me she is about to cry.

"I love you.Never scare me like that again."i can tell she is glaring at Armani now.

"Don't you ever talk to her like that.EVER.she is my sister an I love her.Yes she makes mistakes and a lot of them I may add."Annie adds as Armani mumbles 'yes that's for sure'.

I Hate seeing my best friend not liking my family and all.But this is just terrible how she talks about Annie when I'm not around.I've ne'er seen her in this mood it just hurts.

"Annie come inside."She pulls at my arm.

I can see Armani's jaw tugging towards the ground outside.

As we (Annie and I) reach my old room ,She pops out an idea.

"Do you wanna go back to your life."She mumbles.

"Yeah.But I have something to say.Your life is terribly hard.Like not even joking the hardest. All the Danger and love and drama isn't for me.And I just think you are strong to deal with that-That mess of a life." She cuts me off at the end with a frown.

"Your life is hard too."she almost whispers.But just above one.

"All the Things to do.All the work.All the things you manage to keep up with.I'm surprised you haven't given up and had a melt down.All your studies and the classes and the jobs and the friend drama."She looks embarrassed that she couldn't keep up with all my specialties.

About 10 minutes into talking

"How about we stop talking and change into different clothes."i bring up because I feel very gross.

Annie's POV

Hannah starts talking in her normal voice and I'm talking in mine.She picks out the cutest outfit .

A polka-dotted hoody that reaches her mid-thigh.

And matching violet leggings.Her tank top is light pink to match the polkadot colour.Her hair is in a loose side braid that reaches her hip.

I pick out an equally cute almost matching outfit.

We wear the same thing but in different colours. Mine baby blue and navy blue.Hers in light pink and a dark violet.

My hair is in the same braid but on my right side.

"Wanna make plans for tomorrow over the phone?"i ask as I am at the door about to get back to my life.

Hannah nods her head 'yes' kisses me on the cheek and watches me leave the area. oh gosh I am going to miss being her. Now I'm going home.
