Chapter 7

Ava's pov

It's been 3 weeks since the wreck with Luke. My father is extremely pissed. He thinks that I need to stop talking to Luke. I can't do it. I can't hate him for no reason.
"Ava get in here now!"
"Coming"
I yelled from my bedroom. I got into the kitchen and my father was standing there with a knife in his hand pointing it at me.
"I told you Ava. I told you not to talk to him. This is your last goddamn chance. Don't ever let me catch you woth that, that boy again."
"But father-"
He cut me off
"No ands, ifs, or buts about it. That's all now go to your room."
"No you can't tell me what to do anymore. I love him and that's it now get over yourself father and leave me alone."
His eyes flared up. He gripped the knife tightly and slung it at me. He barely missed. I picked it up but it in the sink and walked away. I grabbed my stuff as Luke pulled in my driveway to take me to school. I smiled as my father gave me a death glare. It was kinda funny. Since I told him off. Was I gonna listen to my father and never talk to Luke again? Hell no. I am still gonna talk to him. If my father thought other wise then he'll have to get over it.

Lukes pov

"I'm sure he didn't mean it Ava. He loves you he wouldn't do anything to hurt you or your feelings."
"Luke you don't that man. He'd kill me if he could get away with it."

We pulled into the school parking lot. I got out and walked around to open her door. She smiled as I opened it and she climbed out. I kinda just looked at her.
"What Luke?"
"Nothing I just...nvm."
"Ok?"
We walked into school. We were standing there in line to get breakfast.

Ava's pov

Someone looked at us and said
"Y'all should date."
I smarted off and said
"DUH I'm working on it damn chill"
Luke just looked at me funny. I mean I loved this boy but he just didn't feel the same way. My friend Ty had texted me. He told me that one of my old friends from middle school was gonna be at our high school the next semester.

I got home and Ty texted me.
"Hey Matt wants to talk to you."
"Ok why?"
"I think he's gonna ask you out."
"Ok"

Ava couple hours later I'm got a text.
"Hey its Matt"
My mind went wondering for a while and then I smiled and texted back.
"Hey"
"Well I was just wondering because you like me and I like you. Do you wanna go out with me?"
Well I did like him a little bit.
"Yes I'd love to go out with you"
Well the one thing I "forgot" to tell Luke was that I had a boyfriend. But I wasn't gonna tell him. I had actually started to fall for Matt. Then I kinda fucked up. Me and Luke were a gonna get high together and I said something to Matt. He kinda got upset which upset me. I cried for a while. Which I still hadn't told Luke with started to upset me. I wanted to tell him but I don't know how to. I stayed up talking to Luke all night. My boyfriend Matt got upset and stopped talking to me for a couple hours. It scared me and I thought that he was gonna break up with me. He texted me back finally.
"Don't worry baby I'm not going no where."
"I just thought since you didn't text back that you hated me now."
"Well don't just know I love you."
Luke texted me to. He knew part of my situation. Well he knew about my PTSD and started calming me down. I didn't tell him about the boyfriend thing yet. I just needed time to think about how to tell him. I just didn't know how yet. I'll just sleep on it. I told Matt goodnight and I loved him and I fell asleep.
