True Love, OR So I Thought

Chapter 2

Ava's pov

I woke up this my dad this morning telling me I had to go to school. He was all I could think about. It was all Luke. My mind had been on him since the minute I laid my eyes on him. But one thing that I couldn't get off my mind was the fact that I knew I had no chance with him at all. He was popular and I was a bum. He got all the hoes and all I could get was a chocolate bar. I knew that he was really cute and all but I couldn't talk to him anymore. He was was out of my league. So my father yelled from the kitchen "Ava hurry up or you're gonna miss the bus"
I yelled back "coming!"
So I'm walking up the steps on the bus then I notice everyone is staring at me. I sat down next to my friend Alec. He told me that everyone knows that I have a crush on one of the schools hotest boys. And that everyone knows that he actually talked to me.
Alec told me that maybe he did like me back. But I didn't believe him.

A couple hours later I'm in my third period looking around the gym for Alec when out of no where I spotted Luke. He saw me too and smiled really brightly. He walked over to me and said hi. My heart started racing and sweat strayed running down my forehead. I asked him if we could talk later and he said yeah. So it's lunch time and we bonded quite a bit. We were walking down the hallway towards the weight room but when we other there he turned around and asked me what I wanted to take about.
"Omg I can't believe you actually remembered!"
Hello looked at me smiling and we just stood there staring into each other's eyes.
He looked into my eyes and said "I'll never forget anything you ever say"
"We'll I mean I just thought that maybe since you..."
Hello cut me off and said
"Since I'm known throughout the school and stuff"
"Well I mean you're cute and I see the way other girls look at you."
"None of them look at me the way you do Ava"
So I finally decided to tell him
"Luke I like you...alot"
Hello just looked at me and said "Shhh I know"
He held out his arms in reach of a hug. I smiled and stepped closer. I reached and wrapped my arms around him and we stood like that for a good 5 minutes.

I looked at my phone for the time. He saw me and took my phone and placed his hand over my mouth and whispered "time isn't gonna matter where we're going"
He took my hand and started running. I smiled and took off after him. When he stopped we were together all alone in the woods of school. We just sat in a tree for hours talking. When I looked at the time it was 5:30pm.
He had to drive me home that night. I was going on a rant and started crying tears of joy and when he got me home. He told me he loved me.

I walked inside my house and my dad was standing in the kitchen. He asked where I had been all day. I told him that I was with a boy. My dad asked who. I told him. Luke. He just stood there with a blank expression on his face. So I got on the laptop and looked on his Facebook page. His relationship status said he was in a relationship. I started to cry and slammed the laptop shut and went to my room. I laid on my bed, tears in my eyes and then it was all blank. I felt all this pain in my heart but there were no tears and no emotion left. I started to yawn and the fell asleep. I didn't know what to think. I just told my self I'd say something to him tomorrow.
