I was laying on Austin's bed with him. Spending as much time with him as possible.

I keep forgetting I am senior now. I don't know how or why I keep forgetting. Sarah is off at college. Austin and the guys are just going to finish high school.

Senior year.

I remember freshmen year just like it was yesterday.

"Wake up!" Austin shouted as he jumped on my bed. "It's the first day of freshmen year!" He pulled the blanket off of me.

"Austin" I groaned. "Five more minutes please."

"Breakfast is on the table. Waffles." He said now taking my hand and still trying to pull me out of bed.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Austin looking through my clothes in the closet. He pulled out jeans and a sweatshirt.

"Put these on and come downstairs." He tried to look stern but ended up smiling a little as he walked out the door.

I slowly got out of bed and got dressed in the jeans and sweatshirt Austin set on my bed for me. I walked into the bathroom to brush my hair and put on makeup. I walked downstairs and saw Austin sitting at the breakfast table with Michele and the rest of my family.

Dad was enjoying his pancakes thanking my mom for making them. He was sitting next to me, and he kept reassuring me that it was going to be okay and over before I knew it.

We finished eating when Michele looked at her watch and said that it was time to get going.

Freshmen year was starting in twenty minutes. We got in the car and started the drive to high school.

"Are you ready for this?" Austin said now sounding nervous and excited at the same time.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I said giving him a reassuring smile. He gave my thigh a light squeeze. We sat in the car in complete silence until we arrived. We got out of the car in front of the school. "Here we go." I said as we walked in.

**

"Ames" He said as he shook me out of the memory.

"Hmm" I said looking up at him.

"What were you thinking about?"

"The first day of freshmen year." I smiled.

He smiled and a light pink shade came across his face. "That was a good day wasn't it?"

"Yeah it was." I bit my bottom lip. He lightly placed a kiss on my lips. "You've gotten better at that since freshmen year."  I playfully nudged him.

"And have a little bit less metal in my mouth." He smiled. "That was my first."

"Same." Now I was the one blushing. "I'm just glad it wasn't our last."

"Me too." He kissed me lightly at first but deepened the kiss. He pulled away slowly, He looked me in the eyes and said "I love you."

I pulled him closer to me and I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you more." I nuzzled my face into his neck.  He tightened his grip around my back.

**

"I just want it to be special." He looked at me showing off his braces.

I blushed. "It will be, Austin. Stop stressing . Your first kiss will be fine." I nudged him. "We're only 14. Why are you trying to rush it?"

We were sitting in our place by the pond.

"I'm not rushing it. I'm just nervous and planing it out."

"Do you have a girl in mind?" I said as I sat down.

His face starting turning a bright red. I nudged him.

"Who is she?" I asked as he sat down next to me.

"You.. Don't know her" He stuttered.

"Austin, I'm one of your best friends. Tell me please?" I gave him my best pout.

He looked out at the sun that was now setting and then back at me. "I don't want to. I know she doesn't like me like that. She friendzoned me really bad."

That bummed me out. He must really like that girl. "Austin. I'm sorry." I said as I looked out at the pond.

"Ames" He said

"Yeah?"

"Can we just stay here forever?" He said as he looked at me.

I smiled and looked at him. "I'd like that."  He leaned in and kissed me. He pulled away slowly, "Austin." I said. I got up and started to walk away. I wasn't mad, I was just thinking about what had just happened. I smiled because that was all I wanted from him.

"Amy! Wait!" I heard Austin call from behind me and then I felt his grasp on my wrist. He spun me around and started to apologize. I just pushed my lips to his.

"For what?" I said after I pulled away.

He smiled at me flashing me his braces. He intertwined our fingers and we just walked around our place.

**

"Austin?"

"Yeah?"

"What happened that summer?" I asked as I moved myself away from him to sit up.

He knew exactly what I was talking about. "I" he started. "I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know? You kissed me then I kissed you and then we had a nice night. And then nothing." I said trying not to sound sad.

"I was a shy boy and I really liked you."

"If you liked me then why did you go out with Hannah?"

"I don't know." He tried to play with my fingers.

"Austin. Stop."

"Please don't do this. We only have two more days together before I have to leave before Miami. I don't want to fight."

"You really hurt me. I've had one of the biggest crushes on you for ever. And you broke my heart."

"Amy. I love you so much."

"I know Austin. I love you too. I'm sorry for bringing that up. I was just--" Austin cut me off

"Thinking about our first kiss?"

"Yeah" I blushed. "I was"

He smirked. "It was the best day of my life. Until I got you to be mine. I love you so much."

"Yeah. Well I love you more."

"No. You couldn't possibly, because I love you to the moon and back, Princess"

"Well. I love you to the milky way and back." I smiled as he kissed me on the nose.

"I'll love you until death do us part." I kissed him as he finished.
