"No! I couldn't have returned, it's impossible!" My heartbeat became more and more rapid as my realizations came to pass. I felt my breath quickly stolen out of my lungs as I heaved in and out.

The scent of the flowers, the dreamshade specifically, it was all too much for me. I crumpled to my knees and collapsed in an instant down on the warm tan sand. There I laid, a quieted nervous wreck upon the shore; drifted off into a deep sleep from sheer fright. The memories that had been brought back from the recesses of my mind were heavy and painful, now they were being brought again back to life.

Pan POV:
"So Ms. Peregrine has returned to Neverland I see," Pan walked out of his tent with a sinister stride. His green eyes glittered with malice and revenge. Following behind him was a smaller lost boy who'd seen Nicole swim to shore.

Pan chuckled darkly, "Funny, she was the one to cast me out and here she is crawling back to me."

"She-she looked distraught when she collapsed, Pan." The boy spoke shyly even though he was an older lost boy. "I didn't want to wake her so-"

"You left her unconscious on the shore?" Pan growled.

"Well I didn't have anyone to help me carry her."

I pushed the boy up against the pole of his tent with his fingers crushing his throat. The boy struggled for air and gripped at my hand. "She's no welcome guest, but we don't leave them on the shore in the heat of the sun, got it?" I tightened my grip as the boy nodded yes. His eyes began to roll to the back of his head from lack of Oxygen.
"Bring her to me." I lowered my hand, releasing the boy. He gasped for air wildly then stumbled out of my tent and rallied up a band of lost boys. They lined up perfectly and ran into the thick of the woods, set to bring Nicole to the camp.

Nicole POV:
"Mhmm, what?" I rolled over onto my back and found myself once again on the beach.

Oh yes, I forgot that I had returned, brilliant. I sat up slowly as I didn't know yet if any of my bones were broken. Thankfully none were, so that was a plus. I rose to my feet and found that my coat, skirt, and gloves were gone; all that were left were my dress slip and undergarments.

"Eeep!" I screamed. This was extremely improper! I had to find something to shrug over my shoulders. A lady should not be seen in her pajamas! Nearby in the water I found my blue shawl floating in the waves. It had drifted onto the shore and would make a nice coverup. I draped it around myself like a Roman would with a toga, it was actually quite nice looking once I was done. My dress slip was made of pink silk so I thought this contrasted nicely. Nicely? What am I saying? I've been stranded on Neverland with a crazy boy who once pursued me! How awful!

I looked about and saw no one. Good, Pan might not know I'm here. He's always been one for entrances so if he hasn't made one yet, I might be still unknown. I ran across the shoreline underneath the palm trees. If Pan was flying overhead he might not see me through the thick, fibrous leaves. I ran faster and faster trying to hide from all points of sight. Every so often I'd check: no forest, ocean, or sky lookouts in sight. I thought it funny that I was running as if I was escaping a prison. Well, Neverland is a prison I suppose anyway.

The further I ran the more I put two and two together: if I was running, where was I running to? "The natives might help me!" I said aloud for some reason.

The frightening feeling of Neverland didn't just bring back fear, it brought back a childlike sense of wonder in me as well. The time I had spent had been wonderful and horrific all at once. Wonderful to begin with, a beautiful lie, then horrific once I found out the truth.

I recalled every part of the island: the pirate docks, the Natives camp, and of course, Pan's hideout. As my feet had first touched the ground, I felt the energy of the island run though my body. I didn't want to realize it, in fact I hated it. But I couldn't deny
