Chapter 11

Harry’s POV

I've been sat in the hospital day looking down at summer lay in that hospital bed. It was horrible seeing her lay like this but knowing she would be out very soon was the best thing I could wish for. All I wanted to ask her was if she wanted to be my girlfriend but sitting here in the hospital is probably not the best idea. She was so beautiful she just didn’t know it, she is one of the most caring people in the world even though I've only just met her I know by looking at her, her smile is unbelievably cute and I’m think I’m falling very hard for her.

“Harry” Summer said in a quiet tone. This stopped me from my thoughts. I looked up from where I was sat on the chair next to her bed. I walked over and sat on the end of her bed taking her hand in mine. They were so soft and so elegant I was glad to have her in my life at the minute.

“yes Summer” I replied

“what were you thinking about?” oh my. I couldn’t tell her about what I had just thought in my head otherwise things could change drastically.

“Erm I was just thinking about… erm... Nothing” I said in my normal voice “only the way you light up my world” I said whispering and looking down to our hands which fitted perfectly.

She slowly lifted herself up so now she was in a full sitting position and not just half sitting.

“Harry, please tell me” Her voice was a sweet innocent voice and I actually adored it.

I had to tell her I couldn’t wait any longer.

“Well” I felt scared this could change everything, our friendship, our lives maybe we would never see each other again but I had to carry on I couldn’t keep it in any longer. “Summer since the day I met you, you’ve lit up my world. You are the prettiest girl I have ever met, you’re so shy, innocent and caring and I love that about you. The day we met in that party I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you. You can even ask the others. When we went to nando’s I wanted to ask you one thing but seeing you ill changed it. I couldn’t ask you. Then you ended up in here. This place, the place where my heart fell as I brought you here, the place I thought I might never see you again if anything happened to seriously, the place all my thoughts ran through my head like a long distance runner running the London marathon. Everything you have done has changed my life in a good way and” by now tears were rolling down my cheek. Summer leant in and gave me a hug which felt like everything was amazing. I stayed in her arms until we heard a knock at the door. I pulled away quickly and wiped away my tears slowing jumping off the bed and walking towards the chair I was originally sat on.

A man in a blue outfit walked in. It was the doctor. He had a huge smile on his face as if something was about to happen.

“Summer we have so good news and some extremely good news which would you like to hear first?” The doctor said to her.

Summer looked over to me with a smile plastered on her face and looking for me for an answer. I shrugged my shoulders and whispered ‘the extremely good news’

“Erm the extremely good news I suppose” She told the doctor

“Well the first time we saw you we thought you were drastically ill with the way you reacted with the ray sting. After all the tests we have done on your body and blood we are now able to tell you that your body is fine with what has happened and now leading to the good news you are able to go home later on today”
