• Chapter Five •
Stepping out of the elevator, I was informed that my suitcases will be delivered to the suite for me. Directly down the corridor we all noticed a big window and we heard a loud hum of an extremely catchy song. Curiosity overpowered me and soon I was walking briskly to the large window. When I peered out I saw masses of people, to be specific teenage girls.
"This is why we have the best fans in the world." Niall stated from beside me. He was thoroughly enjoying the view but once they caught a glimpse of him the hum of the song disappeared to be replaced by piercing screams.
I felt a warmth radiating body from behind me, only touching me slightly but barely. "I've never seen so many girls in one place before." I admitted in awe, placing my hand to the cold glass window. I felt the body press on me further to get a clearer view.
"Then you obviously haven't been to the shopping center while Victoria Secret is having a sale." I almost jumped out of my skin at the sound of Harry's deep and raspy voice. He was the one pressing on me from behind.
Shifting slightly uncomfortably, I felt an arm pull me away from the window, along with Niall too. It was one of the crew members dressed in complete black. "Why am I not surprised that you have?" I replied to Harry who was following behind me slowly.
Then I heard something escape his lips that surprised me. Harry chuckled. For the first time he actually seemed human. The only time I had ever seem him was when he was nice and angry, nothing in between. It was an odd but strangely nice and flattering change. If I was going to be honest, it was a chuckle I wanted to hear more often.
I was given the key to our door, which I unlocked swiftly. "Well as you already know, I have a mum and a sister." Something ran through my body at the choice of his words. It was foreign, almost relief that he didn't mention a girlfriend, which was odd. I don't care about his personal life. I wasn't here to make friends. I was simply here to do my job and my job was keeping Harry in line, not finding the latest gossip on his love triangles.
I stood still in my place, gawking at the room I has just stepped in. My eyes raked over the expensive room in utter admiration. With marble floors, golden fabric curtains, two large beds and gorgeous Italian furniture, it was evident why I was staring jaw agape. Even the apples offered in the fruit bowl looked expensive.
"Would you kindly move your ass, I'd like to see this place for myself." There was a slight hint of annoyance in Harry's voice but I couldn't blame him because I was occupying the whole door way.
I meekly stepped out of the way and whispered, "Sorry." I then moved to place my hand bag on the dining table before I pressed through the double doors of the suite to try the bed out for size. I was in utter heaven, feeling the up most comfort on my body which was so relaxing and I knew I would have the most enjoyable sleeps.
I observed from a distance as Harry grumbled around the suite, clearly not pleased with the sleeping arrangements. Nor was I but we had to make do. I was kind of afraid that he was going to take his anger out on me, but what could I possibly do?
Soon, a man whose attire was a formal navy blue suit, stepped in the room with all our luggage. I thanked him immensely for his deeds before tipping him with five pounds, considering that was the only money I allowed in my pockets. "Of course that transformation would take three suitcases." Harry said as he piled suitcase after suitcase in the room where the beds were.
He even brought mine (all three) in.
"Look Harry, I get that I'm not the supermodel you were hoping for so that these nine months would be an easy ride for you but did you seriously think your mum would choose someone irresponsible? Just don't take it out on me and don't insult me." I didn't raise my voice because I was tired and wasn't ready to have another full blown argument with him.
