A ray of sunshine peered through the creak of the window's curtain. Scott's eyes seeped open and he awoke to the resounding noise of his 6 am alarm. He groaned and draped his duvet back over his head as a sign of rebel. He did not want to go back to school, especially after what had happened. Where was Avi to freeze time he thought. Using his mind he switch off the alarm and rolled out of bed, literally. Crawling on the floor, he turned on the hot water using his mind and laid on the floor waiting for it to heat up. He was really taking advantage of his new power and didn't care one bit.
Time and time went by and Scott was hoping on leg and another into his skinny jeans. Receiving a text, he picked up his phone.

Alex - I'm outside x

Scott sighed. He wasn't in the mood to talk to Alex. He was fed up of how he hid their relationship, being scared to come out. It was tiring, seeing him with his 'fake girlfriend' to cover up. It almost seemed like he was actually into her no matter how many times Alex denied it. Scott flicked on some trainers and tracked down the steps and out of his house. Alex was parked out front and Scott raced around to get to the drivers seat.
Immediately Alex locked lips with him. Caressing his face and hair aggressively.

"Baby! I'm so glad you're okay." Alex stroked his face.

"Yeah, just a few cuts and bruises." Scott shrugged, forcing a smile.

"That's so incredible, that explosion was fucking huge." Alex chuckled while pulling out of the driveway.

"Yeah..." Alex said awkwardly.

There was a brief silence before Alex picked up that Scott wasn't acting right. Turning his radio down low, he made eye contact with him through his front rear mirror.

"Baby what's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing." Scott replied too quickly.

"Baby..."

"Ok! I just think it's pretty fucked up that you're seeing someone else to cover up the fact that you're with me. How the fuck does that make me feel? Like shit to be honest. Like I'm not good enough. I'm fed up of hiding, I'm gay and proud and I want to come out. We don't have to announce it to the whole world, but I just want to be able to hold your hand in public, hug you! Kiss you! It's not fair seeing you with another girl. And it's not fair on her who thinks she's actually dating a guy who loves her. Or do you love her? Because I can't fucking tell anymore-"

Alex stepped on the breaks and the car came to a harsh halt. Scott was a bit startled.

"You know what..." Alex started. "I'm fucking fed up of YOU."

Scott's eyes widened with disbelief.

"I tell you this every single day! I'm fed up! I wanted the best for us! I was trying to protect us but you just don't seem to get it. Just me, me, ME!" Alex slammed his hand on the wheel with every 'me'.

"All you think about is yourself. Our lives are ruined if we come out, don't you understand?! I don't think you do." Alex sighed.

"But-"

"You know what. Get your own ride. I'm done!" Alex yelled.

Scott narrowed his eyes with anger and swung the car door open. He stomped away without a single word, luckily able to walk a few more minutes before actually reaching school. He heard Alex's car speed away, his tires scratching against the road. Once he heard Alex fade completely off into the distance, he let out a deep chested scream with gripping tightly onto his hair. It echoed through the air, reflecting on his loneliness on the deserted road.

"You know what. Fuck this!" Scott turned back and headed straight home.
