Epic

A promise

A few hours later the noise stopped. I looked around in our little cabinet I picked out outfits for both Melissa and Kim .I ironed them and laid them on either side of the bed. I watch until it was dawn. I didn't know where I would get food but I wasn't going back on my word. I opened the window and placed on foot out then I remembered something. I went back inside and unplugged all cords and made sure everything was fine. I took one more look and then I headed back to the window. One foot after the next I went down. As I walked on the lonely streets of Melrose I felt afraid. The different sounds and the thin lines that hardly showed the sun,the less fortunate on every corner you meet.
I pulled up at a supermarket. I stood outside convincing myself I could do it as I had no money and I had no other choice. I walked in with my head held low as a I know this supermarket would be installed with cameras all over. I walked to the shelves I looked for small items that could easily hold in my jacket pocket. I took up two eggs I wanted to take a loaf of bread but I knew that wouldn't work so I looked all around as if I was looking for something specific. I waited until I felt it was right I opened the bread bag and took out four slices of bread and placed them in my lower pockets. I couldn't help it but notice someone looking at me from the corner of my eyes. I couldn't see the stranger's face but I know that it was a male. He watched as I walked from shelf to shelf. I lost track of him for once and then suddenly! Out of nowhere I was pushed with a force ten times my body weight. I was pushed into the refrigerator I watched as this stranger fought with another man. As I laid there in the middle of the refrigerator with broken glass stuck in all parts of my body everything started to look blurry and foggy. I saw the man dressed in a great hoody  coming closer to me as I bleed I became weaker and weaker and I couldn't move on bit. He came over me and said"I'll make all the pain go away sweetheart just shhhh I'll be fast no need to worry". He came closer to my neck and opened his mouth I saw a tooth looking like that of a snake as he came closer to suck every fiber of my being here comes the stranger he grabs him by the neck and tears him to pieces. I could hear bones breaking then this stranger walked towards me then he stopped midway. He took a deep deep breath and as he inhaled vain appeared underneath his eyes. He looked at me with such pity and compassion. As he stood there I began to gap and loose more blood. He rushed to my aid and bit his rist and placed it on my lips I turned my head to refuse it but that was no use he squeezed my draws in this way my mouth opened. A flow of his blood went into my body and I started to see again. In the blink of an eye he was at the counter. "You were robbed by men who were harmed and dangerous they did this to the place ,repeat what you'll say" he told the man at the counter as he looked into his eyes. He went to the shelves and to my surprise he gave each a power kick that made them fly across the room and then it was all black
