Prologue It Begins

My name is Bishop Wells and I'm the head researcher at Swiss Federal Institute of technology, or SFIT since the names kind of long. I was so focused on my research that I forgot the time and my alarm on my phone went off; well what's another all nighter? I walked to my office and started getting ready for today's class; I was going to show the kids how to use acid as an accelerant. I walked into the lab to see it was a mess and the sound of something chewing; it was like a wild animal eating.

When I approached the sound I saw hank my assistant chewing on the newest intern that we got, when I say chewing I mean he was ripping her apart and eating her. God she was my favorite one yet she even reminded me not to stay up all night researching, well I guess this is why she didn't come to get me on time.

"Dammit Hank she was doing a really good job so why did you have to go cannibal and eat her, I am sure the head master wouldn't mind giving you some of the delinquency to munch on!" (Me)

Once hank heard my voice he turned to me, half of his face was gone from claw marks and his eye was hanging from the socket with a screw driver sticking out of it. Well that's not disturbing at all Hank charged at me but I grabbed him by the throat and led him to the paper cutter, once there I put him face down then started to disconnect his head from his shoulders once his spine was finally severed I got a message that blocked my vision of my assistants body.

[You are the 17th person that has killed an infected congratulations]

[You are now an ability user and as such you will be given a random gift, this gift can be anything]

[Skills have been added and items have been added to your inventory]

[Now that the rewards are out of the way let me explain to you what has happened]

[this world is changing to survive what you humans have done to it, and as such most of you will die but don't worry I made it possible for you to survive. As you saw those that have a weak immune system, sick, or completely useless have been turned into infected and will continue to evolve as time goes by. Now here is the fun part, I have given those that have proven their worth the chance to be acknowledged by the system and evolve further to survive. Know this though, weapons such as guns will not give you any bonuses you have to get up close and personal or get creative using traps and explosives. Oh and dropping a building on infected won't increase your overall strength but will give you a bonus of some kind, well good luck in this new hellish world you're going to need it]

Well that was a long as message but I guess it's kind of scientific I mean the earth is pretty much a living creature in itself and we are just like bacteria living off of it and killing it from the inside out so it has finally reacted to us but still a zombie apocalypse seriously? Still though what was with the message about skills and an inventory is this a game? well only one way to find out.

[Kingdom Builder: This occupation is one of the rarest and will hold many secrets, as you increase your kingdom you will grow stronger as well, quests will be given related to your occupation

Summon Magic (Kingdom Builder Skill): this skill will summon items you need to build your kingdom but you will need the mana and resources to do it

Information magic LV Max: this skill helps run your kingdom, please look at the functions unlocked (Show Features)

Shop: the skill will let you buy information, skills, and items

Magic affinity: you can learn all magic skills

???: this unknown skill has given you unlimited mana however it holds more secrets

Auto-Loot: once you defeat a opponent the system will loot it automatically and items will be put in your inventory

Inventory (Unlimited): can store items and dead bodies inside, time will stop once inside]

My fighting strength isn't that much but my intelligence based stat's are ridiculous and what's with the mana and the last skill? Well let's think about that in a little bit right now let's think about the other skills, first is the summoning skill. The skill has several categories and sub-categories for each of them, however these sub-categories are locked I guess they are locked until I get to a higher level but it looks like this.

[Summon Item: you can summon supplies in an instant, does not supply weapons and armor or skill books

Summon NPC: once you have buildings set up and functioning properly you can summon people to maintain and operate such buildings

Summon Buildings: once you fulfill the requirement's you can build buildings in a instant

Summon Bodyguard: you are the master and as such you need to be protected]

The bodyguard skill is what interests me the most and should help me the most right now but I need to check out the other skills as well so let's hold off on that as well. Next up is the information magic, this one is more in-depth then the summoning magic and has a lot more options.

[Analyze: you reveal the information of a target

Track: can track a target, can teleport to the location the tracker is at

Record: you can record either audio or video, feature also works on tracked targets

Call: those that follow you will gain the ability to contact you anytime they want

God's Eyes: you see through lies and illusions, mind magic won't work on you

Detect magic: if there is magic in the area you will be notified

Map: it will show locations, enemies, allies, and secrets

Kingdoms progress: this will show you you're fighting power, supplies, and followers]

I think the information magic is the best skill I have so far seeing how it has so many diverse options however it has no offensive capabilities however the defensive capabilities on this skill is off the charts. I opened up my map and saw that the campus was filled with enemies (Red Dots) but the whole gym was colored green so I am guessing people are hiding there, what surprised me most was that there were three dots in the class room beside me but one of the dots were colored orange I wonder why?
