Cadence Camille Troye's POV

"How old is that girl?" Jaydon asked. He's my partner. He pointed to Zay.

I smiled. "She's 89 years old..."

Jaydon looked weirdly at me. "Just kidding! She's sixteen... she's turning seventeen at the sixteenth of January."

"Ahh... malapit-lapit na din pala 'no?" he asked as I nodded. ("Ohh... it's near, isn't it?" he asked as I nodded.)

"Oo nga... ang tanda na n'ya," sabi ko at tumawa. If it hasn't been mentioned, I'm half Filipino. Luckily, Filipino din ang nakapartner ko kaya medyo naging close kami. But I'm not really fluent at Filipino language, I just know a little. ("Yeah... she's so old," I said then laughed. If it hasn't been mentioned, I'm half Filipino. "Hindi naman," he added. "Pero bakit naiwanan 'yung height?" ("Not really," he added. "But why is the height left?")

"Grabe s'ya oh," sabi ko. "Isusumbong kita doon. Joke lang!" ("You're crazy," I said. "I'll tell that to her. Just kidding!")

I went near Zaynah and Shawn with Jaydon. "Legit ticket?"

Zaynah nodded and smiled. "I still can't believe it."

"Who are you gonna bring?" I asked, hoping it's me. Joke, alam ko naman na ako ang isasama niya doon. ("Who are you gonna bring?" I asked, hoping it's me. Joke, I know she's gonna bring me there.)

Replied Zaynah, "You know it's you. Don't play innocent, Troye. I know you!"

Sumulpot naman bigla si Sam. "Bro...?" (Sam popped out of nowhere. "Bro...?")

"I'm bringing Scott, my best friend." Shawn said. Ooh. Sana gwapo si Scott para may chix ako! ("I'm bringing Scott, my best friend." Shawn said. Ooh. I hope Scott is hot so I have a toy!)

Whatever. I'm thinking weirdly again.

The teacher told us to go to our year's room and we did. The teacher told us to practice singing Last Christmas by Ariana Grande for our performance on the stage. Okaaay.
