You stand back, admiring your new home. It's a large, modern two-story including a basement for storage, and a garage, even though you don't own a car.

Suddenly, you feel the tickle of a paper under your feet. It's an invitation.

You pick up the orange paper. It reads;

You're invited to an open house! 66 MyStreet, tonight. Residents are Aphmau, Katelyn, and Kawaii~Chan. We look forward to your arrival!

"Sounds better then what I planned," you say, knowing that you'd planned to marathon an anime tonight.

You finish tying up your H/C hair in a ponytail and slip on an F/C dress. I'm ready, you think to yourself.

You walk over to 66 MyStreet, scared of what you might find behind the door. Since you're new, you don't know anyone, and might as well be the loner.

You take a deep breath and knock on the door.

"Welcome!" a short, pretty girl with long black hair says. "You must be the new girl!"

"N-nice to meet you," you stammer. "I'm Y/N."

"Aphmau." Aphmau holds out her hand. You shake it, giving her a smile. "Well, don't hang outside! Come in, and I'll introduce you to everyone."

"Thank you," you say, grateful for Aphmau's kindness. You spot a man in a black hood standing in the corner alone, but decide to leave him be.

"Okay," she begins. She points to a blue-haired boy kissing a red-haired girl. "The boy is Dante and the girl is Nicole. They've been dating for the longest time."

"Don't say his name!" A tall girl with powder-blue hair yells.

"This is Katelyn. She hates... D-A-N-T-E," Aphmau says, spelling out Dante's name.

"I'm Y/N," you say.

"Ahh, you're the new girl. Well, you shouldn't talk to D-A-N-T-E, T-R-A-V-I-S, or
L-A-U-R-A-N-C-E."

"Uhh..." you begin, confused. "Could you..."

"Travis is the guy with white hair," Aphmau says, pointing to a boy with a smirk, coming up behind Katelyn.

"Gah!" Katelyn cries as she begins to run around the house.

Travis snickers and chases after her.

"You already know who Dante is, and Laurance is the boy with brown hair. Laurance!" Aphmau calls.

"Hi, Aphmau," Laurance says, in a gentlemanly fashion. "Who are you?"

"Y/N," you say. He's cute.

"Nice to meet you, Y/N!" Laurance smiles. "You're so pretty~!"

"Are you trying to flirt with me?" you ask, amused.

Laurance's face flushes. "N-no... u-unless you want me too..."

You giggle.

"It was the truth, though," Laurance says with a blush.

"Okay lovebirds!" Aphmau says. "Once Dante and Nicole are finished, it can be your turn."

You and Laurance blush furiously.

"I, um, need hungry. I mean, are food," you begin, stumbling. "I MEAN... I'll just get something to eat."

"I'll come with you," Laurance confirms. You glance to the side to see Aphmau smirk.

"Aphmau's kind of annoying," Laurance muses. "She's friendly, but really... how do I say this... ship-happy."

You smile. "I just met her, so I guess it's not really my place to judge. She seems like it though."

"She's, like, a huge anime fan. Attack on Titan and all that."

"I love Attack on Titan!" you say with a gasp.

Laurance turns red. "M-me too! I'm just saying. Sorry."

"Don't worry about it," you say with a laugh.

"Gonbanwa~!" You hear a chirpy, high-pitched voice say.

"You too," Laurance says, rolling his eyes.

You glance around to see a pink-haired cat woman. Her neko-eyes are lighting up at the sight of Laurance with you. "Does Kawaii~Chan spy... a new ship?"

Laurance facepalms. "C'mon, Y/N. Let's leave before she makes a shrine for us."

He grabs your hand and sends fire down it. Why am I blushing so much? Get it together, Y/N!

"Who was she?" you ask as Laurance leads you to the chilly patio outside.

"Kawaii~Chan," Laurance says, disgust etched in his voice. "She's nice once you get to know her, she just... ships people. To the point where it's unhealthy."

You giggle. "How cute!"

"Not that cute. She has a whole shrine dedicated to Aphmau and Aaron."

"Aaron?"

"Mysterious guy. The one with the red mask?"

"Oh," you say. Your memories fly to when you first walked in. "Sorry."

"It's okay," Laurance says. "You're new."

You stare off to the stars, distracted suddenly.

"Y/N? Are you alright?"

"Oh!" You snap back to reality. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just dozed off for a little."

"Cute," Laurance says quietly. He probably didn't want you to hear.

You shiver. "S-sorry... I'm cold."

"Oh my Irene!" Laurance says. "I forgot, you're only wearing a dress. Here, take my jacket."

You blush as he wraps his jacket around you. The jacket smells like firewood.

"Were you camping or something?" you ask.

Laurance's face turns red. "Yeah... sorry."

"No need to apologize. It's cute," you say. It's your turn to flirt now.

Laurance blushes. "T-thank you. Y-you too."

You pull the jacket farther up on your shoulder. "Thanks."

"Wait, Y/N," Laurance says as you begin to walk back inside.

"What is it?"

"You're cute," he says. He runs up and kisses you on the cheek.

"And you're dumb," you comment. You pull him closer and your lips meet his, under the stars.

First oneshot! It was cheesy, but I hope you enjoyed!
