Okay, It's official.

Marinette hated being a princess.

It was only the first day. She was having the most wonderful sleep in the softest bed she had ever laid upon. She probably had nice dreams from sleeping on the bed-shaped cloud. Suddenly, her hotel door flew upon, making her heart jump start as she shot up from her bed and frantically looked around her room. Then, without warning, a group of females carrying numerous makeup products barged into her room, some were pushing in racks of different styles of traditional Chinese dresses, colourful qipaos and cheongsams coming into her line of vision before a pair of very pretty girls picked her up from her heaven of a bed and shoved her into the bathroom.

Marinette barely had time to scream from the intruders, instead she was only able to blink rapidly into the empty space of her bathroom where she could hear feminine shouts from the bathroom door behind her. She slowly dropped onto her knees on the floor and let out shaking breaths, trying to make understanding of the current situation.

"What the fuck." She whispered to herself.

Marinette slowly picked herself up and started running her fingers through the knotted tangles of her hair, deciding to at least have a relaxing shower before dealing with the strangers that just busted down her door and let themselves into their room. She recalled seeing makeup bags within the arms of some of the girls but couldn't rack up any ideas of any business they would have with her. Were they actually reporters in disguise that finally figured out her status?

Okay, Marinette had to admit that that idea sounded far-fetched, even by her own standards. She decided not to dwell on it any longer, peeling off her pyjamas and stepping into the shower, letting the warmth wash over her and chase away her drowsiness.

"MISS CHENG I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO HURRY UP, PLEASE!" A series of loud knocks followed after the person's shouting in Mandarin, the abruptness of hearing their voice causing Marinette to nearly slip on the slick floor of the shower. Luckily she caught her footing before she actually fell but her heart was still pounding against her chest from the sudden loudness. Then she started to feel irritated because why would a stranger tell her what to do? She should really just stay inside the bathroom for the whole day out of spite and call the police on them but then she remembered that all of her personal belongings were on the other side of the door, making her click her tongue in frustration and shut off the water abruptly.

She put her pyjamas back on because there was no way in hell she was going out of the bathroom in only a towel, allowing for everyone to see. The mere thought of it made her cheeks burn in utter mortification but she gathered up her courage to open the door and look as authoritative as she could.

She stood agape at the doorway as her room now resembled the backstage of a fashion show. Marinette let out a rather loud gasp, causing everyone to stop in their business and stare at the small bluenette. Marinette quickly shook herself out of her stupor as she opened her mouth to ask the strangers just what they were doing in her room.

Unfortunately it seemed that all of her luck as Ladybug left her today and before she could let out a protest, she was once again manhandled and dumped on top of a stool in front of the room's vanity. Marinette's blue bell eyes flitted to three people approaching her with brushes and makeup brushes.

"Stop! Just who are you people?!" They faltered in their movements at looked at each other in confusion before a familiar stoic male pushed his way through the crowd and into her view.

"Miss Cheng, you are required to meet your relatives today so these makeup artists and stylists were hired to prepare you for your meeting." He informed her rather calmly, causing her eye to twitch in annoyance at his level-headedness.
