"Why on earth would we need ten study rooms?"
"Well the study rooms contain books of different genres and subjects. For example this one-" Jiānhùrén gestured to the entirety the study room they were at. "-this is used for your language studies."
"It's huge." She retorted disbelievingly. Marinette couldn't grasp the reason for having this many study rooms. To be quite frank, she thought this was just overkill, even by her grandmother's standards.
"Yes I do agree that it's bigger than the other rooms. Nonetheless, it's still a standard study room. Shall we move on?"
"Are the gardens next?" Marinette questioned with excitement laced behind her words. Jiānhùrén noticed her excitement and gave a small smile.
"Yes indeed. I heard from your mother that you like to garden?" He discreetly prompted her to converse about her interests freely and was glad to see her eyes light up in bubbling excitement.
"Yep! I just like to see plants and flowers blossom beautifully after I've cared for them. It's like a reward for taking care of them! Maman takes me to the markets on the weekends and helps me pick out some plants that I can tend to on my terrace. My terrace somewhat resembles a botanical garden now! Fortunately my flowers attracts the bugs that I don't mind and I'm always surrounded by different floral scents every time I step onto my terrace!" Marinette smiled in nostalgia and homesickness, wanting nothing more than to just go back to the simpler times of her life. The times before she was a actual princess.
Marinette broke out of her reverie with widened eyes and she nervously giggled at the sight of her bodyguard's amused expression.
"I'm sorry, I ramble a lot. I'm sure you don't want to hear about that kind of stuff." She mumbled in embarrassment, waiting for a cold reply and possibly a reprimand from the man.
"Don't be. It's kind of refreshing to see someone as passionate as you are about something. You can continue if you like." He encouraged lightly and Marinette's expression only became more dumbfounded as she certainly did not expect that kind of reply from her usually stoic bodyguard.
"I... sometimes use my garden as inspirations for my designs-" she hesitantly continued, looking for any signs of annoyance to come across Jiānhùrén's face but he remained politely attentive to Marinette's ramblings. "-it's pretty amazing how the simplest of things can catch your eye and ideas start filling up your head on how to use it as a design. Actually I think I've got a few of my sketchbooks here with me." She commented offhandedly.
"Would you like to go shopping for fabrics later?"
"R-really?" Marinette wanted to burst out in excitement and squeal at his offer but contained her glee to a hopeful expression. She couldn't stop her butt wiggle this time but Jiānhùrén didn't notice her strange habit.
"Yes. After the tour of the garden we can go into the markets for fabric stores." He stated. Marinette let out an unrestrained smile on her face and happily skipped along next to Jiānhùrén to the garden.

"You know I actually thought I would be used to the sheer absurdity of detail in this place but I thought wrong." Marinette commented."This household does have that effect on people." Jiānhùrén agreed.
