"Why? Why did you left me all alone, Charles?" Emma asked.

"What do you mean 'why'? You poisoned my mother, you bloody witch!" I turned to her, and shouted.

"Cut! Alright, that's enough for today. Charlie, Emma," Mrs. Parker pointed to us, "You guys did great today. Keep it up. Lighting crew, amazing."

"Sound crew," He sighed, "You can do better."

"Hey, Emma, you did amazing today. I hope I'll be seeing you for the next rehearsal?" I asked while dabbing a towel on my forehead.

"Thanks Charlie, you too. I really do hope I could attend every rehearsal because I've been missing out on so much but,.." She paused, looking down.

I continued, "But?"

"It's my grandmother. She has been pretty sick lately, so I just sort of go back and forth the campus and hospital most of the time." Emma explained, before rushing out.

No goodbye? Okay.

Before I left the auditorium, Mrs. Parker gave me some few tips on how I could improve here and there. She was not exactly wrong because, I could use some tips considering I'm quite a newbie here. Coming in a bit later than everybody else was awkward. You miss out too much.

I was a transfer student from Pine Hills University. Nothing much there. My major was Electrical Engineering and why, of course, I dropped out because; first, it wasn't my forte. Second, I can't do math. Unfortunately, I found out that I had to wait for the next year to apply for a new major. It sucks, but it would have been hell if I stayed. By the next year came, I almost forgot that I was not done with college yet, making me apply for Theater major a few months later.

Just when I thought bad luck is on my side, my long lost childhood best friend happened to be in this college, Ethan. This guy didn't do much even with me around. He's either screwing around in our dorm, or somewhere else. I mean, have you ever fell asleep in a room while your best friend is banging the chick 5 meters away from you? I did, and it was not definitely not pretty.

It is quite a pity that he spent his dollars to get into this college, and not do anything useful here.

Speaking of the devil, he was at the end of the cafeteria. As I walked towards him, Willa came into my side. I hope you didn't forget her from before. She's the one that choked on the latte.

Willa Reynolds was known to be The Great Oak's very Princess. Despite being black, she was popular around town, which explains why everyone seems to worship the ground she walks on in Great Oak. Sorry to break it to you, not only white girls can shine. Willa had pretty round eyes and wide forehead. Frankly, she's beautiful. The fact that she was a nursing student here gives off a bonus. I met her at the first party I came uninvited. The next day, we bumped into each other, she didn't recognize me.

"Hey Charlie! Are you heading to the library?" She asks.

I nodded.

"So, Charlie... How was rehearsal?'

"It was great today. We had full attendance , but sadly, time constraint, we only managed to do half way.' I shrugged it off.

"How was Emma?"

Oh, Emma...

Right, Emma.

"Emma, she was great! She always is.' I beamed, as Willa shot me a weird look after.

Bad move, Charlie. As we were conversing, Willa and I walked pass Ethan and his little chick. I looked at her, and when I noticed they both looked back at me,
