CHAPTER 3

~Stacey~

"C'mon Stace! You have to tell me how it's possible Harry Styles has your number!"

After another few hours full of dancing and trying to understand each other above the loud music we decided to take a cab and go back home. So, now we're seated on my bed as Valerie tries to get all sorts of information consisting Harry Styles from me.

"I don't know Val!" I just can't tell her, Marc..- Harry chose to not tell anyone so I can't start telling my friend, who happens to be quite a fan too, his history. I know I shouldn't have secrets for her but I just don't feel like I should tell her.

"But still! What if you start texting each other and he falls in love with you!" She says excited, the hyper activity she gets from alcohol now running through her body. I can't do anything but laugh at her words. Marce..- Harry and I? That's like the last thing that would happen! With everything that happened before... But why did he want to have my number then?

"What's so funny? I'm being serious here!" Valerie crosses her arms, looking at me like I'm some crazy person.

"Nothing... " I say before holding my breath so I can control the laughter. When Valerie gets drunk she has these activity shots going through her body until she falls asleep but when I'm drunk I can have this uncontrollable laughter, which is in many opinions more irritating than funny.

"What? You think you don't have a chance with him huh? Well let me tell you something Stacey, you're a beautiful young woman and every guy should be happy to have you! Even Harry Styles!" There goes the laughter again. If only she knew... Happy to have me! I don't think so. "You're really irritating Stace! How am I supposed to have a conversation with you if you're like this!" By the sound of her voice I can tell she really is irritated.

I just can't help it!

"Let's just get some sleep Val! We'll talk tomorrow." I succeed to say in between laughter.

"Fine! Goodnight." She stumbles out of my room and shuts the door. Well she's a bit grumpy.

"Goodnight" I response, knowing she probably didn't hear it. With a headache already coming up, signaling that I'll have a hell of a hangover tomorrow, I take off my clothes and step into the cold bed.

"BREAKFAST!" lazily I open an eye, immediately getting blinded by the bright sunbeams flashing trough my room, the loud scream still echoing in my head, making the headache even worse. What the hell, why can't they just let me sleep? I run my hand over my face as I reach for my phone with the other hand. I sigh relieved when my skin touches the cold glass of my Iphone. It wouldn't be the first time I lost my phone at some random club.

I press the home button, waiting till the screen lights up so I can see at what time they dared to wake me up. 1 pm... Normally I would've started screaming, one of the rules of living in the same building as me is that you have to wake me at atleast 2 pm when we went clubbing the night before, I just need my sleep. But instead of worrying about that my eyes land on a message from an unknown number. Curiously I open it.

*Hi, I really need to talk to you! Coffee this afternoon? Harry*

I blink and rub my eyes, reading the message again. Well I didn't saw that one coming.

Why would he even want to talk to me? He probably wants to do something to keep my mouth shut, I can't think of another reason. It's not like I owe him an explanation, it's more the other way around.

Maybe that's what he wants? An explanation from me?

No, I don't think so, I lost count of how many times he told me he never wants to talk to me again. But now he suddenly wants too... otherwise he wouldn't have send this. It makes me curious though.

The sound of loud voices coming from downstairs makes me remember that there's a breakfast waiting for me to eat it. Even though my head is trying to kill me I succeed in putting on some presentable clothes, and with my phone still tightly in my head I walk slowly trough the hallway. I almost reach the stairs but my body hits someone else, making me almost fall to the ground.

"Look out!" I mumble, running my thumb over my temple. My eyes widen when I don't recognize the person. "Who the hell are you?" I ask the blond haired girl, standing in front of me with only underwear wrapped around her fake tanned body.

"Linda!" She simply answers before walking away. With a frown on my face I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen, being meeted by the delicious smell of bacon.

"Who the hell is that girl named Linda doing here?" I ask my two roommates who are busy eating their breakfast as I sit down, my eyes scanning the food on the table. Bacon, eggs, pancakes and orange juice. I guess Valerie was up early this morning.

Valerie is my opposite in these sort of things. When we went clubbing I sleep in until late in the afternoon, Valerie on the other hand is up really early and can't fall asleep again. I can't cook, she's marvelous with everything under the category 'food'.

"Nate's one night stand." Valerie tells me as she hands me a plate full of food.

"Thanks" I mumble, my gaze now on Nate who's grinning at me. "I don't like her."

"Well, you don't have to because she won't be here for much longer" Valerie and I exchange a look full of disgust. Let's just say we're not very happy with Nate's one night girls.

"Anyways... Stace you heard anything from Harry?" Valerie asks me while sipping her orange juice. Here we go. She'll probably start her whole OTP thing again.

"Uuhm..."

"You did! He texted you?" I seriously have the worst pokerface ever.

"Yeah, he did... He wants to get coffee." I admit.

"See! I knew it! So, what did you reply?" She asks overly excited.

"Nothing..."

"Nothing? You have to say yes! It's Harry!" This is going the bad way. "If you don't do it, I will!"

He said he needed to talk to me, that means it's urgent... What can go wrong? He probably tells me to not tell anyone and then I can go again.

"Alright!" I obey. I unlock my phone, Harry's message immediately popping up.

*Sure, where do I meet you?*

"Done" I tell Valerie, hoping she'll stop obsessing over all of this.

"Wait! Who's Ha..-"

"Nate, can you bring me home?" The sound of Linda's high pitched voice cuts Nate off, our heads turning towards the now fully dressed girl standing in the doorframe.

"Yea, sure!" He answers, standing up. "I want to know when I come back!" He tells us before disappearing.

"You still have to tell us how you got us into that club!" I shoot back.

"Well, I'm gonna get you some aspirin and after that we'll choose your clothes." If she's gonna force me to put heels on again I'll kill her. My feet still hurt from yesterday. I hate those things.
