Lauren walked in and I was beyond amazed. She looked even more beautiful than she did last night. She had such grace and elegance about her.
I stood up to acknowledge her presence as she sat on the opposite side of the booth.

" So you went to sleep on me last night and we didn't finish talking " I Stated .

" My bad , I didn't mean to. Work have me tired as hell at night I just doze off. " she replied .

She had a slight cut on her lip that she had covered up with lipstick. I didn't know if I should approach it just yet.

We continued our conversation as we ate and I told her about Jeremiah. She told me she loved kids and she wishes she could have some of her own one day.

I was happy & hopefully we would have another date . Who knows ? She hugged me and got into her car & I did the same heading to the mall .

I walked in the house and instantly I was hit .
" Where the hell you been bitch ?!" Connor spat at me .
A tear fell from my cheek instantly and my face began to swell. I couldn't believe that he hit me again ...
" I been calling and calling your ass and you ain't even answer ! " he said .
He was angry but I was too , I didn't wanna deal with his bullshit anymore .

" I'm leaving Connor " I said turning around . He was faster than expected.
He grabbed my hair and slammed my face on the door. Blood leaked from my face & I cried in shock and heartbreak .
" You ain't going no where bitch! Destiny brought us together and if you try and leave or anybody try and get in the way of that I will fucking kill you ! " Connor said to me angrily .
" Now go clean yourself up and make me some to eat " he said .
I walked upstairs and cleaned myself up . My nose was leaking and my jaw was swollen . There was no way I could even meet Cali tonight . She would definitely see my face wasn't the best . I already felt kind of conscious because she was looking at my lips.
Connor knocked on the bathroom door .
" Babe can I come in ?" He asked. He sounded like his normal self . The guy I fell in love with..  He sounded like .. My boyfriend.

" Yeah " I replied dryly allowing him to open the bathroom door.

" Baby , I'm sorry that I hit you . I'm  sorry that I hurt you . I won't ever in my life hit you again . I put that on my mama life baby." he said crying and on his knees .
I've never seen him cry before i didn't know what to think.

" Of course baby I forgive you " I said .
" Good I'll see you later on tonight , I'm going out with my boys " he said leaving before I could reply.

I looked at my phone and texted Cali .
" Hey , can I get a rain check , I had an allergic reaction and my face is swollen . I promise I'll make it up to you 💕 "

She texted back " Yeah it's cool take care beautiful 😘"
I smiled , deleted the messages and then I went to get pain pills .
Before I knew it the pills were working and I was out.
