Who are you kissing at midnight?

I walk into the building and look for someone I know, I mean I kinda know everyone, but I am looking for my team. The music is really loud and I can't really find them.

"Ziva." I heard behind me. I turned around and behind me stood my favorite goth.

"Come on, the team is right over there." She said.

I walked after her towards the team, where indeed everyone already was. I was late, because I did not want to come to this party. I greeted the whole team and then Tony started a conversation with me.

"You're late Zi."

"Yeah I did not really want to come."

"Well it's good that you came anyways, and you look beautiful by the way." He says in his, well you know Dinozzo-way.

I smiled to him as a silent thank you.

"So Zi would you dance with me and be the last dancepartner I have this year?"

"Sure."

I walked with Tony towards the dancefloor and right at that moment the music stopped.

"Hello everyone, we are glad you all came tonight to this NCIS new years party. We hope you all enjoy your time, the music stopped because it's time for something different, we are going to do karaoke. You don't choose if you are going to sing, I have a bowl full of names and the name I grab is the next singer. Good look." Said the DJ. Oh no I hate karaoke.

"So the first name is..." He grabbed a name. "Ziva David, from team Gibbs."

No no no no no no no, this did not just happen. Tony pushed me on to the stage. I don't want to do this, I can't even sing. I wanted to sing for Tony, when we were alone, to show him how much I actually love him.

"What song do you want to sing Ziva?" The DJ asks.

What am I going to sing? Should I do the song I wanted to sing for Tony? I am just going to do that I think.

"Uhm I want to sing 'would you be so kind' by Dodie Clarck please.

I take a look at the clock. It's almost midnight, almost new year.

"Uhm this song is for someone special, I hope the person knows." I say hoping Tony would understand what i said.

Then the song started and I sang.

"I have a question....."

"Oh would you be so kind as to fall in love with me?"

"I know you know that I like you but that's not enough"

Before I knew it the song was over, 1 minute 'till midnight. I got of the podium and walked to Tony.

"So you are in love with someone here?" He asks.

"Uhm yeah, you could say that." I smiled.

"So who are you kissing at midnight?"

"You did not get it? Tony you are so stupid, it was for you."

Then the whole croud started counting down from ten when they were done the new year would officially start.

"Really?"

I nodded.

"3...... 2.......1"

This was the moment, my moment, our moment. The moment I would show Tony how much I loved him.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR." And then I did it, I kissed Tony.

"Happy new year." I said.

"I love you Zi." Tony said.

"I love you too."

"Let's now wish the team a happy new year." I said.

After all our happy new year wishes abby asked me a well kinda hard question.

"So Zi for who was your song?" Gibbs stared at me, he really wanted to know for who it was also.

"Well what happens in 2016 stays in 2016." I smiled, then looked at Tony.

Hello guys! I hope you all had an amazing christmas. Thank you for reading my last story in 2016! I wish you all a happy new year, and I hope that 2017 will be an amazing, good and healthy year for all of you. Thank you to everyone who read my story's in 2016 and I hope you will continue in 2017. The story is pretty short, I know, but I just wanted to make a new years story really badly. Oh and be careful with fireworks!
