Ch 10 - (A Stupid) Reason

Your POV

I slowly began to wake up and I found myself in an empty room. It looked like I was in a big glass cage. I rubbed my head and realized that my hand were chained to the wall behind me.

"Ugh... Where the heck am I?" I looked around the unknown and mysterious room. Clearly I wasn't in the school building. Just great. Then the dickhead, Declan, and his slut of a girlfriend, Lacey, just suddenly walked in. "Hey, you're finally awake." I rolled my eyes and glared at the two.

"Now I know you two should be sent to a mental hospital. Psychotic isn't the word to describe any of you." They both glared at me, "Watch it." I leaned against one of the glass walls of the cage. "Why am I here and where is everyone else?" Declan left the room as Lacey answered, "Well tell you soon. But right now, you seem like you could use some company, so we brought a friend over. You might know him and he seems very concerned about you, so we'll send him in the next cage, alright?"

I rose and eyebrow as Declan dragged a dark figure next to me. He threw the figure that looked like a hedgehog into the cage and it groaned. He chained it next to me on the wall. I strained my eyes to see who it was, and it was the very last person I wanted to see, after he shattered my heart to pieces: Shadow the fucking hedgehog.

My eyes widened as I watched him slowly wake up. "Wh-What the...?" He looked around the room and our eyes met for a minute. "(Y/N)..." I looked away, not wanting him to see my tears. The ones he caused. He turned back to the couple. "Why and how did you do this?" Lacey then laughed out loud.

"Long story short: One of my stupid old relatives used to use song spells to get people to do what she wanted. I asked her to teach me after we heard about the battle of the bands and we got the hang of it. So we sing those songs, not only to make us win, but to entertain ourselves by seeing the whole school looking so helpless and in fake love. It's pretty hilarious."

"So your relative is like a witch. No wonder you cackle like a fucking witch." Lacey growled at us, but we didn't flinch. Then I remembered the rest of our band and their band. "What about Sonic and the others? And Naomi, KC and their boyfriends? Where are they?" "Relax,they're right here."

Declan then showed us the security cameras of our friends. And what I wanted last to happen to them was happening to them (Does that even make sense?): they were under the spell of the songs. In other words, they did exactly what everyone did to the Marvin Gaye song.

"No..." Tears fell from my eyes as I watched all my friends looking so helpless. There has to be some way to break the spell for good, because we can't stay like this forever. But... what is it?
