I sighed walking downstairs to see them singing happy birthday to angel then she blew out her candles i grabbed my keys walking to the door trying to not be noticed but that failed as soon as i opened the door i caught joes attention
Joe:Cat where are you going
Me:I gotta run an earran really fast

Me:Papers i need to pick up

I walked into the house with the abortion papers in my hand going right upstairs with them into me and joes room i looked it over grabbing a pen tears filled my eyes then the door opened i hid them under a pillow as joe walked in

Me:its just...in really happy your adopting

Then the paper slipped from under the pillow i quickly picked it up

Me:Oh its nothing

Then joe walked out i finished filling out the abortion papers

I walked into our room so see cat fast asleep i crawled into bed behind her wrapping one arm around her and laying down when my head hit the pillow i heard a noise i sat up moving the pillows to see paperwork
I cut on the lamp looking at the paperwork this was for an abortion Is cat pregnant?
Me:Cat wake up
I lightly shook her and she woke up
Me:Where did these come from
She looked at papers in my hand and immediately got up walking out

I got up following her she put on some shoes grabbing her keys waking up Rocky

I caught her before she opened the front door sitting her on the sofa she was in tears

Cat looked down as her tears flowed faster i held the papers
Cat:I was gonna tell but you had already announced you were adopting again so i didnt wanna get in the way of that so i was gonna get an abortion

Cat nodded not bothering to look at me
Cat:At the doctors office and on my birthday you were telling me you didnt want another baby i didn't wanna upset you
As much as i wanted to yell at her for not telling me i didnt it was obvious she was hurting herself
Me:You werent gonna upset me baby i swear im happy that your pregnant and when this baby comes it will bring us closer together
Cat looked up at me i wiped her tears with my thumb i leaned down and we kissed passionately

we pulled away looking back to see angel
Me:Hey birthday girl what are you still doing up
Angel:Im gonna stay up until my birthdays over and enjoy every minute
Cat:I almost forgot to give you the presents i got you its in that closet right there
Angel ran to the closet opening it and squealing
