It is about this time of year that we consider our lifestyles and make promises to ourselves as to how we will improve things in the coming year.
Please find below my list. I have tried to be hard on myself as it is meaningless if we make easy challenges.
1) I shall refrain on referring to sheep as 'Leisure Centres'
2) I shall desist from annoying my neighbours by constantly singing out loud, 'While shepherds watched their flocks by night'
3) I shall remove the picture of Mary and her little lamb from my bedroom wall. (This will be a toughie)
4) I shall stop writing to the Queen requesting that she confers knighthoods on all sheep farmers. ( I have a suspicion that her reading is not up to much)
5) I shall completely give up mint sauce.
6) I shall fight for racial equality by asking to have the children's rhyme 'Baa Baa black sheep' banned.
7) I shall stop wearing a long coat and hanging around farmers fields.
8) I shall stop lobbying for the death penalty at sheep dog trials.
9) I shall stop harassing our local butcher about his selling Lamb Cutlets.
10) I shall give up cream cakes for breakfast (OMG!!)
A/N I hope I have the strength of will to impose these hardships on myself. Wish me luck.
