(Y/N) sat on the end of her bed, deep in thought. First year of Hogwarts, 11 years old, rich, good family reputation, wow she's got it all! Except she hasn't, her parents barley notice her... what's the point of having all the money you needed when you couldn't buy happiness?!
"M-Mistress (Y/L)... T-Time to fetch
your things and leave for the train.."your house elf trembled. You see, (Y/N) wasn't always the nicest of people, she was sometimes rude to the workers in the Manor and she wasn't exactly bursting out respect.
"I knew that already," she started to reach for her suitcase and bags but her house elf beat her to it "give 'em here I don't want your dirty hands on my belongings." (Y/N) spat.
"S-SORRY" her house elf squeaked out.
(Y/N) scoffed and shoved the tiny, trembling house elf out of her doorway as she made her way down stairs. She had a calm look etched on her face yet her insides were swarming with mixed emotions. She paused and contemplated wether or not to say farewell to her parents that rarely show their faces to her. She chose not to and unlocked the front entrance doors. She threw one of her bags over her shoulder and grumpily yet nervously made her way out of the magnificent manor, slamming the large door behind her.
She walked towards Diagonally, doing her best to avoid any filthy muggles bumping into her. The Hogwarts express wasn't in Diagonally, however if she was going to venture through her first year she needed a companion like a cat or an owl... wait, hold that thought... yes! An owl will be perfect! She skipped excitedly towards Eeylops Owl Emporium, where she would purchase a loyal pet and equip herself with all the things an owl needs to live. She looked around and saw various owls: eagle owls, barn owls, snowy owls, Northern Hawk owls.. out of the corner of her (E/C) eye she saw what seemed to be an Elf owl. She tried to hold in her exited squeals as she shoved her way towards it. A tiny black Elf Owl with amber eyes placed its attention on (Y/N)
"Chirp!""Aww aren't you just the cutest little fella!" A beautiful smile graced on her gorgeous face.
Her glowing eyes darted down on a card attached to the Owl's cage. It read: The elf owl is a member of the owl family Strigidae, that breeds in the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is the world's lightest owl, although the long-whiskered owlet and the Tamaulipas pygmy owl are of a similarly diminutive length. It's scientific name is Micrathene whitneyi. They weigh 1.4 ounces and are about 12.5 to 14.5 centimetres with a wingspan of about 27 cm. The owl you are looking at now is male.
"Your a bit small and you might not be able to carry all my mail but oh well!" (Y/N) smiled. "100 galleons, there, that should be enough." She said to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper simply nodded and scooped up the golden cylinders of currency. She skipped happily out of the shop, not really paying attention of her surroundings.
"Oof!" She gasped
"Sorry lass," a large hairy man started "didn't see ya there! 'Ere, lemme help you with that!" The large man picked up the bag that she had dropped and placed it on her shoulder
"Thanks, I guess." (Y/N) spoke blandly. Her attention was directed towards the snowy owl he was holding.
"Is that a Elf Owl? What a cute little tike!" The man bellowed out a bit loudly. "I suppose you bought that for your receiving mail in your first year in 'ogwarts!"
"How did you know that?"
"Bit obvious en it!" He made his way outside and you did the same. You saw the man talking to a small boy around your age.
"Wow! Thanks Hagrid!" The small boy said enthusiastically.
The said man then turned to you, however, you didn't notice as you were admiring your small companion.
"No problem, 'arry! I'll have to leave you soon but if you need any help with something make sure that you don't ask a muggle, ask our ol' magic folk!"
The boy, presumably 'Harry' was admiring his snowy owl that Hagrid had just given him.
"Like ask that little lass," Hagrid suggested, pointing a large finger at you.
"Ok, thanks for the advice Hagrid!"
--------------------
You were in the station, you and Arcell — the name you gave your owl— were venturing fourth to platform nine and three quarters."Excuse me miss," it was the boy from before! You recall that his name was something like Harold or Haley or-
"I'm Harry, nice to meet you."
"(Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N)." You held out your hand and he shook it. You secretly then wiped you hand on your white jeans.
"I was hoping you could help me get to platform nine and three quarters?"
"How do you know that I'm a witch? I could've been some random muggle for all you know."
"You had an owl..." That and Hagrid told Harry you were a witch, but you didn't need to know that..
"Whatever, anyway see that wall over there? Run at it. Right into it."
Harry's friendly smile dropped "No, you're joking."
"Wanna bet?" You had positioned yourself and your trolley in front of the said wall, Harry watching from the side. You broke into a sudden sprint and went straight through the wall. Harry's jaw dropped. You were through the wall and waited to the side of the entrance. Soon after Harry appeared.
"What did I say, hmm?" You smirked. Before he could answer you made your way the the train.
Draco's POV:
I turned around to see a gorgeous looking girl around my age smirking to herself. She had a black elf owl and she had (H/C) (H/L) with dashing (E/C) eyes. I wanted to leave my spot where I was standing and approach her, but Vincent and Gregory were too busy babbling to me about useless things. I averted my eyes, it was rude to stare, but that wasn't the real reason why I looked away, she looked at me too. A small blush spread across me cheeks. She's a cutie... wait since when did I use the word 'cutie'?!(Y/N) POV
I boarded the train and looked for carriages to sit in. I found an empty one and decided this would be a good enough spot. Just then someone knocked on the door
"The rest are full so we're just gonna join you." A boy spoke. He was accompanied by two other boys. Great, this should be fun.
