It was now February. It was the fourteenth, Valentines Day. I actually hated this day to bits and pieces. To top it off I knew for a fact that I'd be giving birth soon. I already had been to the hospital twice for two false birth contractions.
I clasped my diamond earrings on, touched up my nude-red lipstick, and walked out of the bathroom.
My phone rang in my purse. Picking it up I looked and declined. It was Wyatt. He still had no idea I was pregnant. I ditched the end of summer cabin thingy I was supposed to go to, and moved into my apartment two weeks early.
Walking to the balcony of my boyfriends small apartment, I took in a deep breathe of air and then felt it. I felt the pain. Then I saw the water. My red dress and nude heels were destroyed.
No one inside seemed to hear me yell, or manage to see me, even though it was only eleven am and we were still setting up.
But somehow an elderly man next door peaked out his window, and asked, "Miss, I'll call you an ambulance." As he spoke to them, and then hung up, he walked outside, in a neatly pressed suit and added, "My wife had three kids. I've gone through three births with her."
"You're not even going to question how I'm going to have a baby at such a young age?"
"No, that's your story. My wife and I had our first child around your age. About nineteen?" He yelled the last part.
His copper-haired wife poked out the door and replied, "You were twenty. I was nineteen."
"I'll be nineteen soon." As soon as I spoke I heard the ambulance round it's way. "Hey ma'am, sir, would you like to come to the hospital with me?" I let out a loud grunt, as a wave of pain shocked me.
"We would love to, considering that boyfriend of yours didn't even realize you were giving birth." The woman replied.

"PUSH!" My doctor says through her teeth. I let out a large breathe of air. "Okay, one last push. Give it all you've got."
With a large intake of air, I hear the wails of a baby, and see the doctor holding a-, "Girl. Your baby is a girl. We need to wash her, weigh her and check her health. Then you can hold her."
I smile and fall asleep. My baby girl was born at 7:01 pm, just about eight hours after my water broke.
An half hour later I wake up and see the doctor holding my daughter and walking her over to me. As she placed her in my arms, I sat up and smiled.
"Do you have a name picked out?"
"Ma'am," I ask the copper-haired woman, "I never got your name. What is it?"
"My name is Adah Isaksen."
"Would it be alright if I named her Adah?"
"It would be my honor."
I look at my baby girl and say "Hello Adah. Adah Florence Marie." Kissing her forehead, I smile and lay down.
The doctor handed me the birth certificate and told me to write Adah's name. In cursive I wrote Adah Florence Marie Salvino.
It was funny that my boyfriend hadn't even realized I had been conceiving a child until after I had called him. He had told me that he thought I was just in the bathroom. I had fallen asleep when he showed up and I woke up to see him holding Adah. It was adorable, and I was in love with him. My boyfriend-Damien- looked up at me with his light hazel eyes, his curly blond hair flopped over his face. Damien knew half of my situation. He knew I was pregnant, but he like all the others didn't know who. So we agreed that if anyone asked she was part him, part me.
