I hadn't talked to Wyatt in five years. After that night, it was like our own personal goodbye. He had to leave the next morning anyways. Shoving my head deeper into my pillow, I stare out the window of my childhood bedroom. Since it was Kat's senior year, and Adah's first year of kindergarten, I decided we should move to my dad's house. Every weekend though, we went to see the Isaksen's. They were such a huge part of my daughters first five years of life.
"Mommy! Mommy! MOMMMYYYY!!!" Adah jumped on-top of me wrapping her pale arms around me. "I have school today! And so does Aunt Tina." Adah refused to call Katarina, Kat. She only called her Tina.
"I know!" I smile at my daughter and sit her on my lap. "Do you know what I have today?"
"No, what is it mommy?"
"I'm starting my job today too!" Somehow I managed to graduate college. I mean I missed most classes, and failed a few of them, but I somehow still managed to graduate. I think they just wanted to get rid of me, the problematic mother.
Recently I had applied to work as a bartender. It was at some posh club half an hour away.
"Mommy-"
"Shit. Adah we've got to get ready." Okay, so technically it was seven am, and we had to leave at eight twenty, but my daughter was one of the biggest procrastinators even at her age.
"Mommy when will I have a little sister or brother. I mean I prefer a little sister but a brother works too." She pouted her plump lips, whilst getting off my bed.
"Sweetheart, just go get ready."
I really didn't know how to answer her.

"Ok, so everyday you'll be working here from eight forty-five am until nine pm. You get two forty-five minute breaks each day, whatever time you want." My employer a lady who goes by, Ms. Greene, handed me a list of drinks, ranging from alcoholic to non-alcoholic, sweet and sour. "Today you'll learn how to make all the drinks. Everyday you must wear black and white; either black bottoms, and a white shirt or vice versa."
With that Ms.Greene walked me to the stock room. "This is where you'll learn how to make the drinks. And this is Paris."
A/N: I need time to think. I can't say I haven't been feeling this story because I have. I just don't have the inspiration for the next few chapters. So I'm going to start writing something I've been wanting to write since I was like ten. It's this huge series. So I'm going to start writing that.
Maybe for this story I'll just observe or research single mothers. I don't know though. Clearly I'll continue this story (even though no one reads it).
