I wake up to a knock on my door. I quickly fix my hair and answer it, completely forgetting about my scars. I took the bandage off. I open the door to see Seth. Immediately regretting opening the door, I hide my arms.
"Hi Seth!" I say with fake cheer. "Hi Kai. I wanted to see you" He says. I let him in and he started talking.
"Are you ok?" He asks. I close the door and turn to face him "I'm fine" I lie. "Are you sure? You keep bringing your sleeves lower" He says, eyeing my wrists. I tell him I'm fine and then doorbell rings. I thought it was Luna. Instead, it was Ajax.
"Hi Ajax!" I greet with another fake cheer. He comes in and sees Seth. "Hi Seth" Ajax says. Seth waves. "What did you both come here for?" I ask, looking at Seth and Ajax. "I came here to see you, you aren't really your usual self" Seth says.
"I was just coming to look at something" Ajax says, looking at my wrists. He and Luna are the only ones that know, well, Ajax doesn't know I have depression.
"I'm fine guys. Thanks for thinking of me though" I say. There was another knock on the door. I'm positive it's Luna. I rush to the door and open it.
"Kai! Hey!" Luna gives me a hug, making sure to avoid my wrists. I return the hug and Seth and Ajax look at Luna then back at me. "Guys, this is Luna. Luna, this is Seth and Ajax" I introduce them to each other. Luna comes closer to me and whispers "I ship you with Ajax" I hit her playfully in the arm and shoot her a glare.
A couple seconds later her husband Adam comes through the door. "Hi Adam" I greet him. He was my friend when him and Luna started dating before I moved. I forget that she is two years older than me and in college. I introduce Seth and Ajax to Adam and me and Luna go to the kitchen to talk while the boys are chatting.
"Why do you do this Kai?" Luna asks me, lifting my sleeve to see the scars. "Ever since that d-day, I started doing it" I say. After a couple of hours the boys go to Luna and Adams' house for a little sleepover while me and Luna stay at my house
