Niall's POV
"Wake up! Today's the day your little girlfriend comes over, lover boy." Harry yanks open the curtains making me want to get up just to slap him across his face.
"Shut up! I'm trying to sleep." I groan and shield myself from the sunlight with a pillow.
"Well it's already one in the afternoon, but if you want to continue to sleep then go right ahead." He shrugs.
"One?!" I jump out of bed and I'm suddenly wide awake.
"Why didn't you wake me up sooner?! The place is a mess! And I still have to prepare the food and on top of that I still have to get ready!"
I find a clean shirt, hastily pull it over my head and grab some basketball shorts while I'm at it. I guess this will do for now but I will definitely need to change later. Harry laughs and then opens his mouth to speak.
"Woah. Slow down, you'll get every little detail you need to get done by the time she gets here," he assures and it helps to calm my nerves, "It's been a long time since I've seen you like this. Actually... Wait. I have never seen you like this." He chuckles and continues with his 'pep talk.' "And you guys have only seen each other once, imagine what will happen after today..." He says and walks out of the room leaving me to ponder the thought.
Why am I acting so nervous? I can't be asking myself questions right now. I need to get everything ready. Luckily, Harry helps me and I'm able to take a quick shower before she gets here.
"Niall! Your guests are here!" Harry shouts from the living room. I take a quick glance in the mirror and head out to greet Bella.
"Hey! I'm glad you made it!" I say while opening the door and grabbing the bag of chips she brought. She looks pretty. Wait, no. She looks more than pretty, she looks amazing.
"Yeah, me too." She smiles and I notice her friend right behind her, who seems a little... Sad? Maybe that's why she wanted to bring her?
"The food is almost ready. You want to head outside? That's where I'm cooking it." I explain.
"You're cooking?" She says while giving me a smile. Does she think I wouldn't cook for her just because I'm well known? Before I can make anymore assumptions she opens her mouth to speak again.
"You look like someone who likes to grill." She admits and it's my turn to smile and I lead them outside.
"I'll be back in a few. I'm just going to go get us a few drinks." She nods and I go inside. I am looking everywhere for them but I can't find them anywhere.
"Where's your girlfriend? She couldn't show up?" Harry laughs at his sad attempt of a joke as he walks out of his room.
"No. I can't find the drinks, where are they?!" I harshly whisper so the girls can't hear.
"Oh, those where for today...? Me and my buddies drank them the other day..."
"What!? Now what am I going to give them!?" I ask trying to keep my voice down.
"Chill! Damn, you're so nervous. Just calm down and I'll go to the store real quick. Loosen up!" I take a deep breath and take his advice and head outside.
"Well, my friend is going to go get the drinks. Sorry about that." I apologize on Harry's behalf.
"It's okay, so how was your day?" She asks trying to make conversation.
"Good. It's been a chill day." I respond. I hear Harry's car and I excuse myself again.
"Finally! Hey, can you do me a favor?" I ask.
