"How do you know him? You could have been nicer to him you know. Shit, you should have asked him to sit down!" Mason says in disbelief and a hint of disappointment.
"Relax! Geez, I don't even know him." I take a sip of my drink.
"Well he knows your name." He chuckles.
"Yeah, because Bella has been hanging out with Niall. And I only spoke to him once." I explain.
"What! She is? Woah!... Bella. Hey, next time we see him can you take a picture of me and him?"
"Um... ok?"
What's with Mason? He is acting like a hormone crazed teenage girl. We finally finish eating and head out. Mason walks me to my car and kisses me goodbye. I sit in the car for a moment after he leaves, and just as I'm about to start my car a knock at the window startles me. I look up to find Harry's big green eyes looking at me through the other side of the window. I roll down the window and wait for him to speak.
"Yes?" I say as I roll the window down.
"Um... I'm sorry to bother you, but my car won't start and the paparazzis are in attack mode right now." He gives me a apologetic smile and sigh.
"Alight, get in." His smile grows and he disappears. A moment later he opens the passenger door and hops inside. As soon as he does a rush of his cologne fills my nose. He smells so good. Wait.
I have a boyfriend.
I have a boyfriend...
I keep repeating to myself.
"So that guy? That's the guy you were so upset about last time?" As soon as the words come out of his mouth the memories of that day come rushing back and I feel horrible for the way I treated him.
"Yeah, about that... I'm not normally like that." I don't know why I feel the need to explain myself to him. He chuckles.
"Well, lucky for you I didn't take it too personally."
I smile.
"Alright, so where am I taking you?" I ask as I stop at a red light.
"Can you drop me off at Niall's?"
"Yeah, sure." I nod and I start heading over to Niall's place.
"Can I ask you a question?" He breaks the silence.
My heart starts to pick up its pace. What the hell? Why am I reacting to him this way? I have a boyfriend. I nod, I don't want to take the chance of speaking and my voice cracking in front of him.
"Have you heard of my band before you met Niall and I?" This wasn't the type of question I thought he would ask.
"Yeah, Bella and I have all your guys' albums, but we never thought in a million years we would actually get to meet you guys." I answer honestly.
"Do you always tell the truth?" He asks and I can feel his gaze on me.
"Yes, I think it's just better that way. I have nothing to hide. If you put everything on the table you know exactly who likes you for you and who doesn't." I say. Thank God that we are only a few minutes away from Niall's house.
"Hm... Interesting."
"What is?" I can't help myself. I need to know why my tendency to tell the truth is so interesting' to him.
"Oh nothing." He flashes his bright white smile at me as I pull up in front of Niall's house. Harry doesn't move.
"Are you going to the party tomorrow?" He asks turning to face me. What party? Bella hasn't mentioned it. Maybe Niall hasn't asked her yet?
