Maryn's POV
"For all the directioners listening out there here's What Makes You Beautiful!" Our local radio host announces full of enthusiasm.
"What! This song is so old, but oh well!" Bella says and turns the radio up.
"Can you please turn it down? I'm trying to read here." I wave the book emphasizing my point.
"Who's the one driving here? That's right me." Bella playfully replies.
I glare at her and continue reading my romance novel. I have always enjoyed these types of books. They make me step into the character's world, and experience what they are experiencing. In the middle of the author's captivating plot twist, Bella interrupts me once more.
"All right book worm, we are here. So you can either put your book down or if you want, you can read it inside." She gives me a smile and I can hear Dylan chuckle beside her in the passenger seat. I ignore her comment and head to the store. Dylan grabs a cart as we walk in and I can already imagine all the different meals Bella and I could attempt to make.
"We need eggs, cereal, milk, fruit, lots of it, juices and," Bella taps her chin trying to think of other necessities, "what else?" She asks obviously in need of assistance.
"You go grab the fruit and Dylan and I will go get the milk and eggs." I tell her, she nods and wonders in search of the fruit. I notice Dylan is about to follow behind her but I tug his shirt bringing him back towards me.
"Oh no you don't. I need to talk to you." I say while looking for the dairy section.
"'Me? How come?" He wonders aloud as he follows me.
"You know exactly why. I saw you and Bella last night." I inform him and debate which type of milk I should get.
"What are you talking about? We just fell asleep. It's not the first time." He replies, innocence clear in his voice.
"I know, but every minute you spend with her, you fall more and more in love her." The look on his face shows me he knows it too.
"I can't help it. I wish I wasn't. I really don't want to ruin our friendship, but everything she does, all her little quirks make me like her even more." He says and I swear I think he's probably picturing all the little things she does in his head.
"I'm just saying you need to be careful. Sooner or later you are going to want to tell her how you feel." He nods and when he doesn't say anything I change the subject.
"Anyways are you going to stay all day today?" I ask suspecting she will be back any minute now.
"I don't know yet, I'll see how it goes later." He says while grabbing Bella's favorite cereal.
Bella's POV
I see all sorts of fruits. Then I spot the mangos so I make my way over to them. Suddenly I see a guy with a snapback, Ray Bans, and sporting a casual outfit. Wait... Why is he wearing sunglasses inside? Ugh. L.A people. I turn back to the stand of mangos and pick the best four. I go to look for Dylan and Maryn but can't seem to find them anywhere so I go to the snack section. As I am reaching for Maryn's favorite pop-tart's , all the mangos I had been carrying, topple down to the ground. I sigh and bend down to pick them up. But as I'm about to, I see a hand that is not mine reach for them. I look up to see that same guy in the snapback I noticed earlier in the fruit section.
"Here, let me." He collects all four of the mangos and hands them back to me. He's not from here. I could tell from his thick accent. Why does it sound so familiar?
