Chapter 17

Aria's pov

"Aria are you okay? What happened?" He asked and hugged me. "Yhea. Are you okay!!" I said. "Yhea, I'm okay. We're all safe. I'm right here." He said, holding me close. "Please don't leave.." I said and cried harder. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here." He said.

I nodded, and tried calming down. "Calm down Aria , you're gonna make yourself sick. Just calm down." He said. "Just, please don't leave. Not you, Luke, Calum, Luna, or Ashton." "Aria, I promise; we're not going anywhere. We're a family."

"You okay now?" He asked, and handed me some water. I nodded and took a sip. "Okay. You wanna tell me what's wrong?" He said, and sat on the bed with me. "It was when I was 13." I said taking a breathe.
After Aria tells Michael the story
I started baling even more, it was my fault and I couldn't forget that. "Aria, hey, look at me. I'm not going any where, neither is anybody else. We're right here with you." Michael said, pulling me into a hug.

"It was my fault..." I said. "Aria, no. Please don't say that. Its not you're fault, you didn't cause that car crash." He said, and he was right, I didn't, but the guilt was the part that gets to me. "Knowing the last thing I said to them was I wish I had different parents, just kills me."

"I know you didn't mean that. We all say things we don't mean." "Yhea, but the last thing I heard from them was I wish I had a different daughter. And I don't blame them." I said and looked at him.

"Aria, don't blame yourself. I'm sure they didn't mean it." He said and played with my hair. "Sorry I'm such a mess." I said. "You're not a mess Aria. Now, try and get some sleep, its really late. I'll be right here when you wake up." Michael said and I slowly closed my eyes.
