"Um Blake. What are you doing here?" I eyes him wearily.
"You didn't text me back" he states sadly. And immediately I felt bad. Quickly grabbing my phone, I realized I had three messages from an unknown number.
"Well, I'm going to take a quick shower. " Kasey says before leaving the room. I nod at her statement.
I let out a soft sigh and look at him. "I'm assuming this is your number?" I ask, showing the number to him. He merely nods and glances at me once again. "Come on in." I gesture inside of my dorm. He follows me inside and makes his way to the couch. "I'm sorry. I didn't even check my phone after i asked what you wanted."
"But why didn't you know it was my number a second ago?" He asks, genuinely confused.
"Oh. I must have not saved it earlier. My bad."
All of a sudden, his sad looking face is forgotten and replaced with more of a hopeful one. "Oh okay. I wanted to know if we were still on for Friday. And then you didn't text back and I started to panic because I didn't know if you were even interested in me anymore and" He rambled for a little while before I stop him.
"Blake. Chill. We are still on for Friday." I say a smile making it's way on my face. He's so cute when he rambles though.
He sighs and runs a hand through his hair while a surprised expression makes it's way on my face. "That's not all of what I wanted to say." I tense up at those words. Those were the same words he said before he left before.
"I wanted to talk about what happened four years ago. I'm really sorry and I want a chance to explain myself and I can't wait til Friday because I'm afraid of what will come."I really didn't want to talk about it with the memory fresh in my mind from my talk with Kasey but I don't want to upset him.
The tears threaten to spill when Kasey comes into the room. She quickly stops in her place when she sees Blake standing there. "Oh. Hey Blake! I didn't realize you were there." She looks over at me and as of she was reading my mind asked "Bails, do you still want to go get some food with me?"
I nod quickly, possibly too quickly making me look suspicious. "Um sorry Blake, I promised Kasey that we could go out to eat tonight." He visibly sighs and runs his hand through his hair.
He really needs to stop doing that or else his hair is going to fall out one of these days.
"Okay." Blake says defeatedly. "Then I'll see you Friday I guess." He waved goodbye and quickly shuts the door.
Turning around, I see Kasey eyeing my suspiciously. "What was that all about?"
Now it was my turn to sigh. "He wanted to talk about what happened all of those years ago. And honestly I didn't want to relive it once again in the same night."
She just nods and I take it as my cue to leave to get ready. Walking into my room, I throw on a pair of dark skinny jeans and a purple tank top with ruffles waterfalling down the front. Pairing it with a pair of black ballet flats, I hear a voice.
"Hey should we invite Asher to come with?" Kasey pokes her head into my room while asking. "We haven't hung out with him in a while."
I nod, smiling. "Yeah of course!" And then I remember. "But he may be working. He started working at the cafe a week or two after orientation."
"That's great!" She exclaims. "I have to finish getting ready. Can you call him?"
I smirk at her knowingly. "Aww you don't want to call lover boy yourself?"
She blushes and quickly shakes her head while ducking out of the room.
Kasey and Ash were madly in love with each other. Even if they didn't necessarily agree with me, they both knew it. But they are both so stubborn that.
Let's just say I'm still working on them and not giving up my dreams of planning their future wedding.

"And he was like 'my bad' and I was like 'um hell yeah. You ran into me' and he was all like 'oh don't try to act like you didn't enjoy it' and I was like 'no I didn't enjoy it. I fell on my ass because of you.' And you wanna know what he did. He just laughed and let me sit there on the ground. He walked away. Can you believe that?" Kasey asks downing her third strawberry daiquiri. She was quite tipsy, maybe even drunk.
You knew she was a lightweight and let her drink this much anyways, my conscious yelled at me. It'd be amazing if she made it home without throwing up.
I myself was completely sober, due to the need for a designated driver. "What an Asshole!" I exclaim, knowing this is what she would have wanted me to say. Drunk Kasey is demanding and you don't want to get in her way.
Asher laughs while shaking his head. He knows better as well and just goes along with her crazy antics.
"I know right! So this one girl helped me up and when I tried to thank her she walked away." She says while taking another swig of her drink. "I mean like hello I was trying to be polite. Can you believe that Ash? I mean how bad of a person am I?"
Shaking my head, I ask the waiter for the bill.
"I'll um cover Kasey's part of the bill." Asher says looking down at his empty plate. Awwwww.
"You know you don't have to Ash." I say with a small smile on my face. It was nice of him but Kasey gave me her money before she started drinking just in case she got drunk and wouldn't be able to figure it out.
He shakes his head. "Nope I got it! I even got yours. And no buts about it." I shake my head but don't bother arguing with him as I know it's pointless.
After a few minutes, the waiter comes back and Asher throws down $40 for the meal while I put $15 for the tip.
Walking out of the restaurant, I quickly try to help her get into the car without making a complete fool of herself. Luckily Asher was there. Otherwise, we would have probably ended up tripping over the curb and breaking something.
The ride was mostly silent as Kasey passed out. When we got to our dorm room, Asher helped her into her bed while I took a quick shower. I heard the dorm room close as Asher left.
After cleansing myself of all the alcohol, I went back into my bedroom in only a towel. Of course I was thinking that I would be alone and all of that, but no. Of course that's not what happened.
Sitting on my bed with wide eyes was Blake as he took in my appearance.

I know this is short but I figured a quick update would be alright considering I'm a little busy.
