Darkness.
Isn't it weird?
Some people love it, others hate it. Some think it's peaceful, while others think of it as dreadful.
I don't have an opinion on it. It's there. Whatever but right now, it's the last place I want to be.
I hear voices. Who's? I can't tell. They sound so close yet so far away at the same time.
Soon I can make out the voices to be a female and a male. Maybe two males. I'm not certain.
My heart begins to race for some odd reason and I feel myself plunging into the darkness once again.

"I can't believe she isn't awake yet."
"Shut up Ash. You're not helping."
"But it's almost 1 in the afternoon. The doctors said it would only be a few hours and here we are almost 12 hours later and she still..."
"Ash. Stop. You groaning about things isn't going to help her situation."
I try to talk but my voice won't allow me. Slowly opening my eyes, a bright light forces me to quickly shut them again. "Guys..." I manage to croak out.
"Omg Bailey." I hear Ash's voice. Kasey shushes him and I'm grateful.
"How are you feeling Bail?" Kasey asks sincerely while I attempt to open my eyes. The room is darker that it was a few seconds ago and I am able to keep my eyes open this time. "Do you need anything?"
"Water" I say and Ash runs to get some. "Where am I?" I ask genuinely confused.
"You had a panic attack Bails." Looking over to my left, I see Blake looking as distraught as ever, sitting in the chair next to my bed. "Kasey and I brought you to the hospital."
I go to sit up but Kasey pushes me down lightly. "No Bailey. You need to rest. The doctor should be in a few minutes to talk to us about your condition but right now you need to relax."
"I feel like I've been ran over with a truck." Kasey just laughs at my statement. "My head is pounding."
"Asher went to get the nurse and a bottle of water for you." She says sincerely. "Don't worry. You'll be alright" I can tell something's bothering her and I'm not quite sure what it is.
"Wait why did I have a panic attack?" I ask.
Blake abruptly stands up and walks out of the room. But not before I hear his cries.
Wait, Blake is crying?
What the hell happened?
***
"Okay Bailey. You just need to sign here and you are free to go home. Get lots of rest. You're going to need it in order to get better." Dr. Mason orders.
It's been 8 hours since I've woken up. Asher had to leave for his 3 pm class and I somehow convinced him to just go home afterward. Now, if Kasey would have listened to me, she would have gone to. But no. She refused to leave my side.
Blake on the other hand, I haven't seen since he stormed out of the room earlier.
Kasey didn't know why I had my panic attack. All she said was that I was talking to Blake and it just happened. I remember a conversation with Blake but I can't remember the end. And I feel that's why Blake walked out like he did.
I remember his tears. How I wanted to wipe the away.
Everything brings back memories from three years ago.
