6:00 pm my alarm clock on my desk read.
"Ethan!" I scream from my bedroom to the living room where Ethan was. I was having a major crisis.
He comes running in at full speed. "What?" He yells but slowly quiets down when he realizes the dilemma.
Letting out an ugh, I glare at him as he starts laughing. "Oh sis. You want to know where he's taking you don't ya?"
I nod, knowing he talked to Blake about where we were going.
You see, it was suppose to be Blake and I at his dorm talking but his roommate planned an impromptu party starting at 7 and he figured that we should go somewhere else. So he planned this other place but won't tell me where we're going and told Ethan not to tell me where we're going.
"But E, I have no idea what to wear." I had half an hour to throw together an outfit, take a shower, put the outfit on, and do my hair and makeup.
Why the procrastination you ask?
Well, I kinda sorta fell asleep on the couch and my lovely brother thought that I would only need a half an hour to get ready.
Note the sarcasm.
And to top it all off...
He was wrong.
Now I sit scanning my now disastrous bedroom floor trying to find an outfit for tonight.
Ethan shrugs his shoulder. "I guess just wear something that's comfortable. That shouldn't be too hard to find, would it?"
I groan. "Ugh yes that would. Is it a casual comfortable or like a dressy comfortable? Do I need sneakers or should I be fine with sandals?"
"Omg woman. How hard is it? Casual comfortable. Wear whatever you want on your feet. Either are fine." Ethan says running his hand through his hair, resulting in his already messy hair looking like a rats nest. "But you have 26 minutes so I'd hurry if I were you." And with that he leaves the room.
That makes me groan again. Quickly grabbing a light pink tank top, a grey cardigan and a pair of black leggings, I run into the bathroom.
Deciding that I don't have time to take a shower and dry my hair, I plug my straightener in and run it though my hair. After putting on my outfit in quite a rush, I grab my makeup. Seeing that I only have ten minutes left, and knowing that Blake is usually early, I throw on some mascara and lip gloss.
Throwing on a pair of black moccasins, I walk out my bedroom door to be greeted by Blake and Ethan arguing over if the red flowers would have been better than yellow.
"Dude. Every girl loves getting red flowers. That's like symbolism of dating couples." Ethan stated matter-o-factly.
Blake's eyebrows crinkle in confusion. "Um dude. If you knew you're sister, you would know that first of all, she likes the color yellow, and second of all, she's not like other girls."
My heart literally just "aww"ed.
"Yeah well. I do know my sister but" Ethan says but rubs his chin as if he's trying to figure out his next words. "I uh" he stutters causing me to start laughing.
Blake quickly turns around with a terrified look on his face. "Dammit Bailey. You scared me." He says with his hand on his chest.
I giggle slightly before wrapping my arms around him, giving him a hug. He awkwardly hugs me back and when we pull away, Ethan's glaring at us. "What happened to 'talking'?" He bending his fingers into air quotes on the word talking.
