Ayame (Iris) Yukimura is different from others, she's an kitsune (fox) all she wants is to be normal but that kind of gets hard when you move to a town filled with vampires, werewolves and a hybrid. So what's a girl to do when she wants to be normal...
BEEP BEEP BEE- I turn my alarm off on my phone, it's 07:00am it's time to get up for my first day of school. I slowly got out of bed and went to take a shower, after I finished I blow-dried by hair and got changed an my outfit of the day which was a light purple dress, ripped stockings, a pair of black boots and a gold fox necklace (up on top on what she's wearing). I also put on a bit of make up on. Once that was done I went down stairs to have breakfast only to realise that I haven't done any food shopping yet. I grab my my bag with my keys, phone and wallet and left the host, it was now 7:54 am which leaves me 15 minutes to go out and get breakfast. I jump in my car and go to the nearest cafe I can find, once there I order myself a caramel latte and banana bread. When I got my order I leave and head to school, once I arrive I had 5 minutes to spar so I head to the front office and get my class schedule and locker number.
"Um excuse I'm new" I said to the lady behind the desk she looks up at me and smiles
" right Ayame Yukimura, not a lot of new people here" she says opening a draw and getting out some papers. "Here you are dear, I hope you have a good day"
"Thanks I'll try" I say while grabbing the papers that I need, I looked for my locker once I found it I put in my combination, once opened I put in my bag but got out the staff that I need like my pen and a book to write in. I shut my locker and nearly jumped when a blonde haired girl stood in front of me.
"Hi I'm Caroline you must be new" said the girl Caroline holding out her hand to shake
"Ah yes I'm Ayame but please call me Iris" I say shaking her hand
"Ok Iris it looks like you came on a good day, we have the 60's dance tonight you have to come" said Caroline looking very excited.
"Ah I don't know I don't have a dress not do I want to be standing by myself the whole night" I say to her
"Nonsense you have to come, you can hang out with me and I have a dress you can use I was going to use it but then I found another one I liked so I brought that so what do you say" she asks
"Ok fine" I say giving in she's hard to say no to.
"Great I'll see you later and give you the details, bye" Caroline says waving be goodbye
The bell rings, I look at by class schedule and see that I have history I eventually find my class I take a seat at the back.

Everyone finally gathers all we are waiting on is the teacher. The door opens and he enters.
"Hello class, what are we learning today" the teacher says
"with the decade dance we have been learning about the sixties all week" says a girl in the front.
"right the sixties... I wish there was something about the sixties that was good" he mumbles the last part but with my good hearing I heard it he looks back at the class and continues "Actually they kind of sucked except for the beetles of course they made it bearable what else was there that missile thing, the walk on the moon, water gate-"
