Kitsune (A vampire diaries fanfic)

Chapter 10

I knew there was no way out, unless I want Stefan to fracture my spine, so I sit on the floor listening to Stefan and Elena arguing about how he can stop the compulsion just like Caroline's dad did and how much they love each. I would rather be anywhere else but here. It's funny we decided to come to prank night to get away from everything supernatural but it's the opposite.

"Elena and Iris your going to have to run" Stefan says

"But Klaus said-" Elena got interrupted by Stefan

"I know what klaus said but if you stay it won't matter.... Elena please please please" Stefan says looking at the clock. 5 seconds.

"Yeah Elena he's right we should go now" I say walking to the door.

"No Stefan you can fight this.... I love you" Elena says right after the buzzer goes off. I grab Elena and pull her towards me as Stefan charges at us.

"RUN" he yells.

Which Elena finally gets it and runs me one step behind her. We turn a couple of corners but I no Stefan is right behind us. I no what I have to do so I stop and wait for Stefan behind the lockers, just when he was getting close I jump out and snap his neck. Which was easy considering I used my superhuman strength on him. He falls to the ground dead. Klaus opens the door with Elena in hand.

"Well this is fascinating, who knew you had the strength to pull that off" Klaus says to me

"Yeah well it was him or me I couldn't very well let him rip out my spine now could I" I say back to him.

"Indeed. Now thanks to you and your friends I figured out what went wrong" Klaus says and bites Elena's neck. I try to stop him but he then pulls out something that looks like a test tube and puts Elena's blood in it.

Elena faints and Klaus knocks me out. I awake to see I am laying on the floor of the school. I look for Elena she is nowhere to be seen. I reach for my phone which is still in my pocket and call Damon.

"Hey where are you?" Damon asks

"Well you know just woke up on the school floor where Klaus knocked me out and Elena is missing" I say sarcastically but then added "please tell me your with her and Klaus doesn't have have her. I don't no how long I was out for."

"Relax she's with me at home" he says

"Oh thank God" I say more to myself "so which house. Yours or hers, so I don't go to the wrong one."

"Mine. See you soon." Damon says and hangs up.

I go to my car and drive to Damon place. I don't bother knocking and just walk in. I see Damon and Elena on the couch talking.

"Elena thank God your okay" I ran up to hug her

"Yeah I'm fine... Well considering" Elena says

"Yeah I no what you mean, this is getting ridiculous. I need water and aspirin I have a killer headache thanks to Klaus" I say walking to the kitchen getting a glass of water. "Do you even have aspirin? Given your vampires and don't need it"

"Top left cabinet" I hear Stefan behind me.

"What are you doing here" Damon asks.

"Klaus asked me to look out for elena" Stefan says

"So your just going to follow everything klaus says" Damon asks

"It's not like I have a choice but want I really want to no it what are you really? The strength that you used to snap my neck that was beyond human" Stefan asks me

"What do you mean?" Damon and Elena asks

"Should you tell them or should I?" Stefan asks me

"What can you say. You don't even no what I am" I say to Stefan

"What do you mean?, what's going on?" Elena asks

"Stefan is saying iris is not human" Damon says

"Not human? Then what are you?" Elena asks. Everyone looks at me.

"Ok look I was going to tell you but ... I don't know I just kept putting it off"

"Iris what aren't you telling us" questions Elena

"Ok here goes I'm not human... Well I mean I am but not--" Damon cuts me off

"Get to the point"

"Right sorry... I'm a kitsune" I blurted out. It silent for a bit before Damon asks

"Whats a kitsune?"

"A Fox" was all I said

"A Fox... Seriously I've never even heard of a supernatural creature that is a Fox"

"Yes well you only know of vampires, witches and werewolves and besides kitsune's have been instinct for centuries now, as far as I no I am the only one left" I say

"No I can't believe this, you've been lying to us all this time... All those times we hung out. This summer looking for Stefan. You couldn't even tell me" Elena practically yells at me.

"Look there was never a right time"

"Who else knows?" Asks Elena

"Only Tyler"

"You told Tyler but you couldn't tell us" Elena yells

"That couldn't be helped he saw my kitsune cloak" I say

"Kitsune cloak? What's that?" Asks stefan

"A golden cloak thing that surrounds my body... I don't no how to explain it but only wolf's can see it or if I am really mad it becomes visible to the human eye" I say

"I..I need time to think, I can't see you right now so umm just go okay" says elena

I knew she needed time to think so I just left. I just hope she can forgive me.
