Two months later
"Shut up Matt!" I yelled laughing.
"LOW LIFEEE YEAH SAID IM REPPIN FOR THE LOW LIFE" he screamed and turned the music up even louder.
My mom turned it back down.
"Shut that up!" She yelled laughing.
"Sorry." He laughed and my mom payed attention to the road.
"Yeah Matt, your really good at annoying my mom aren't you?" I teased.
"No! He's sweet!" My mom added, I know she wants me and him together.
But I don't like Matt like that, I still love Jc even though me and him haven't texted for about two months.
And I don't know if I'm moving in with him anymore, considering we haven't talked in forever and we aren't close anymore it'd be pretty awkward to just show up to his house and move in.
My mom and I have been getting along more, but it annoys me that she always tells me how she thinks my best friend Matts a really good guy and would be 'good for me'. Yes, Zoeys still my best friend too but whenever she's hanging out with Kian I don't get to see her.
I met Matt when my moms best friend came over, he's her son.
He's eighteen, which gives my mom one reason why he's better for me than Jc, but for the last and final time I love Jc not Matt.
We pulled into chick fil a, and my moms friend, Matts mom met her there. Matt and I got our own table and so did my mom and Veronica, Matts mom.
"I saw ya thinking hard in the car, what's up?" He asking takin a bite of his food.
"Just missing Jc a little extra right now." I explained.
"Seriously? All you think about is this boy and I don't even get to meet him?" He joked and I laughed.
"I'm not even allowed to go see him Matt."
"So your saying the day you turn eighteen you'll take me to meet him?"
I shrugged.
"I don't really know what's going on with me and him anymore, he might be dating someone else." I explained, although we never broke up.
"Isn't he your boyfriend?"
I nodded.
"Yeah I think I mean we never officially broke up but we don't really talk anymore."
He looked away.
Matts pov:
"Isn't he your boyfriend?" I asked her, if he was why would he be dating someone else?
She nodded at me and swallowed some food. "Yeah I think I mean we never officially broke up but we don't really talk anymore." She frowned down at herself and I looked away trying not to show anger.
Whoever this boy is, should grow a pair of balls and text her so she isn't worried about him twenty four seven.
From what I've heard about him he's six years older than her, and probably is just taking her for granted.
I wanted to meet this guy so bad it's unreal, see how he really treats her.
I'm not stupid, I'd be able to see if he really loves her or not.
Jcs pov:
"What do you mean you haven't talked to her in two months!?" Kian yelled at me.
I shrugged.
"Didn't I tell you to text her! And to continue to text her?" He yelled again.
"Listen, I love her and she knows that. She knows I'd never do anything to hurt her and I'll see her in about a month." I explained.
His anger faded and he looked at his hands and his phone dinged.
"I got to go, I'm going to Zoeys." He explained and left me sitting at his kitchen table.
I sighed and debated on texting her.
Kians pov:
I pulled into Zoeys and her roommates apartment and she hugged me.
"I missed you cutie." I mumbled swinging her around.
"Chill Kian you saw me like three days ago." She giggled and I played with her hair.
"Last night you told me you had to talk to Jc. I thought you couldn't come?" She asked.
"I got a little pissed off I guess." I explained everything to her and she nodded.
"Well sometimes he isn't right I guess but they'll find they're way I think we should just stay out of it."
"Yeah." I agreed and plopped down on her couch waiting for her to join me.
Zoeys pov:
I had to calm Kian down about the whole situation but he knows I'm not the person to stay out of things, especially when my best friends involved and I didn't want to bring this up, but Rosie's been telling me a lot some boy named Matt and if Jc doesn't get his ass moving, who knows she might fall for him.
I texted Jc, trying to confuse him but maybe point some things out.
Remember Jc, you snooze you lose. Bye.
I texted.
What?
I left him on read.
I wish she would get the hell away from Justin, because I really like Matt and I know him and I have a feeling this Justin boy is just trying to break her.
She's been depressed lately, more than usual. It's all because of Justin.
