3. Surprised

Returning to work after that amazing day felt like it could not get better but it did.

What's going I felt happy yet serious.

I walk into my office. And I was surprised to see flowers everywhere, who did this. I looked around but couldn't find a card anywhere. So I gave up and began to walk to Henderson's office.

Dawn - Hey, boss.

Henderson - Latimore what do you want?

Dawn - Why set me up with some one I might kill? You got to be kidding me?

Henderson - Well to be completely honest. He asked me to.

Dawn - What?!

Henderson - Yes.

Dawn - Okay, okay you got me. Tell the truth!

Henderson - I am. He likes you but he doesn't think it would be right since he's competing for your spot in my firm.

Dawn - oh!

Henderson - Don't mentioned what I have said. Okay?

Dawn - yea.

I exited his office. How crazy can this firm be. I just hope it doesn't get worse.

I was walking to my office. I go in and decide to take some coffee. Right when I reached over to my mug I noticed something different. The coffee pot itself was placed differently. I pick it up and moved it to its original spot. There I find a card. It read

" I knew you loved coffee, and very precise on where you left things. So yea. I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a real date outside the office. Somewhere fun. Hoping to hear back from you".

I wanted to respond to him on this so called date. So I looked outside my office and there he was. Adrian. By his door patiently waiting. I smile. And walked towards him.

Adrian - Hello, beautiful. 

Dawn - (I couldn't hold back my blush) Adrian.

Adrian - Um...

Before he could speak someone had bust into the double doors of my office floor. I might add he was very sexy. Was he a intern? I just got to know.

Wtf! What did he wanted with me?

?? - Is that you mam?

He pointed at me. I lost my breath for a minute until I said.

Dawn - Yea.

Adrian - (got in front of me) Hold up! What you want with her?

?? - I'm sorry, but I can only discuss that with her and her assistant.

Dawn - My assistant?

?? - Yea, I believe his name is Adrian.

Adrian - That's me you ass, and I'm not her assistant. I'm her partner.
