Breaking Night

Chapter 4

"Uhh... Hey. I'm Brinley." I stated awkwardly. I stood there observing the two girls as they did the same to me. I suddenly felt insecure.

The two girls were both blonde. The slightly taller one had long thick hair that reached her lower back and had these big brown eyes. She was absolutely gorgeous! The other one was equally as stunning. She had her hair styled in a really short hair cut that looked super good on her. I could never pull it off. It looked like she has some brown in her as well. She had blue eyes. The one with long hair finally stepped forward.

"Hi! My name is Josephine, but you can call me Jose. Without the 'i' because I don't like it that way. This right here it's Emily! Welcome to our dorm." She told me. The smile never left her face. It was just so catchy that it even brought a smile to my face.

"It's great finally meeting you. We were waiting ever since we heard we were getting a new roommate. They even gave us a bigger room because there is three of us. So basically we got a suite. All because of you!" Emily winked at me playfully and we all laughed. I had a feeling I was going to get along with these girls great.

"Well I am glad I got to meet you two. Since we will be living together for a while, let's get to know each other. Sound good?" I suggested while smiling at both of them.

"Well for now, we will just ask you questions. You can get to know us later." Emily replied. I nodded in agreement.

"Okay. What's your favorite color?" Josephine asked.

"Easy. Purple, which is why I absolutely love this room."

"My turn! How about middle name?" Emily asked.

"My middle name is Avery. It was my mom's name." I smiled thinking of her.

"Okay so favorite animal, favorite food, favorite store at the mall?" Josephine questioned.

"Alright. My favorite animal would be giraffe. My favorite food would have to be pancakes. Lastly, my favorite store would be either American Eagle or Hollister." I said even though I haven't been to either store in ages.

The questioning continued until they knew every single thing about me. I even learned a ton about them. They even got me to tell them about my past. We sat there for about 15 minutes just hugging. I got really close to these girls in the few hours I knew them. We all have nicknames for each other. I'm Brinnyboo/Brin. Josephine is Pheenie/J-lo because her last name is Loomis. Emily is Emmybear/Em.  I am super excited for the upcoming years with these two. We were then interrupted.

"I've never seen a diamond in the flesh

I cut my teeth on wedding rings in the movies

And I'm not proud of my address,

In a torn-up town, no postcode envy

But every song's like gold teeth, grey goose, trippin' in the bathroom

Blood stains, ball gowns, trashin' the hotel room,

We don't care, we aren't caught up in your love affair.

I watched as Pheenie pulled out her phone and her eyes widened in shock.

"Oh my god! I forgot! I have to get going! Louis asked me to go on a date with him! I have been waiting for months for him to ask me!" Pheenie squealed obviously happy that she gets to see this guy.

"Have fun! But not to much fun!" I winked at her while we all laughed.

"I'm not making any promises, Brinnyboo!" She said while she playfully thrusts the air.

"GET SOME!" Em shouted super loud. I just smiled while they laughed. My life changed in a mere six hours. I was actually enjoying myself.

After Pheenie left, me and Em had a conversation about relationships.

"So do you have a boyfriend?" Em asked me.

"Uhh... No. I haven't actually tried for a relationship with anyone in a long time. What about you? Anyone special?" I questioned while a blush crept up to her face much to her dismay.

"Well, I have kinda been seeing this guy. his name is Harry. Harry Styles. He goes to school here. He is really good friends with Louis Tomlinson. Which is who Jose is with." She said while she smiled dreaming.

"That's so cute. Best friends dating best friends." I laughed slightly while she tried to stop her smile.

"Well, he has more friends that are good looking. Maybe we could hook you up with one of them!" She suggested.

"Maybe. I wouldn't rush anything." I said. I was starting to get really tired and looked to see it was around 9:45. "I'm going to go to bed. Goodnight Emmybear." I smiled at her before laying down in my bed.

"Goodnight Brin." I heard her whisper before I fell asleep feeling safe and comfortable for the first time in over a year.
