Jealousy

Ladybug grit her teeth as she silently swung next to Chat as he ran. The blonde teen kept giving her inquisitive glances, but didn't say anything. Finally, they stopped next to the statue that was made in their honor.
"What's wrong M'lady?" He asked curiously.
She huffed, "How's your girlfriend?"
Cat blinked at that, "M'lady, I have pawsitively no idea what you're talking about."
The spotted hero growled, "Fire! I'm talking about Fire Wolf!"
Cat Noir backed up a bit, "Again, I ask, what are you talking about M'lady? She's not my girlfriend. She's just a furend. Why does this even bother you?" He smirked, "Have you finally fallen for me M'lady?"
She scoffed with a playful smile even though she was internally wondering the same thing, "No Chaton, I just don't like the idea of a mutt hurting my kitten."
His smirk grew, "So, I'm yours now?"
Ladybug's cheeks burned as red as her suit, "That's-that's not what I meant. I mean-"
"M'lady, would it be such a bad thing if you fell fur meow?" He asked, the look in his eyes seeming so familiar.
The dark blue haired teen shook her head, "I'm sorry Chaton, but I like someone else..."
Hurt flashed across his expression, as always when she said those words, but he quickly covered it up with a lazy half smile.
"Well, until next time then," he bowed and kissed her knuckles, "M'lady."
Then, he was gone, running off into the night. He needed a place to think...
Ladybug sighed, would it be so bad? I mean, it's easy to talk to him, he has really beautiful green eyes, soft blonde hair- She cut that thought off when Adrien popped into her head.
'You have a boy that cares deeply for you and a boy that loves you. You want both so why not have both? They're peices of a bigger puzzel. The question is, can you put it together?' Fire's words from that morning rang in her head and kept repeating over and over again.
She thought again about the ways she would describe both boys, they're both brave, kind, selfless, loyal. They both have blonde hair, green eyes, and the same body type. Fire could've figured out his identity by his scent. She gasped, no. Way. Marinette didn't want to believe it, but it clicked together so perfectly. Adrien Agreste is Cat Noir!
Not wasting another second she grabbed her yo-yo and swung home, a million clues and slip ups Cat made filling her mind. The things that he covered up smoothly and she shrugged off. One thought reined supreme though, I'm an idiot for not noticing.
Cat Noir was running across the Paris roof tops finishing his normal patrol, the one he decided not to finish with Ladybug, when he saw a black blur zoom past him. Being the curious kitty he was, he followed it and ended up at the top of the Eiffel Tower. He looked over and saw Fire sitting on the railing, her flame flickering once more.
"You know, I don't usually like heights, but in my experience, something you don't like can become something enjoyable with the right company."
Cat gulped at walked over to her, leaning against the railing to stare out at the lights of Paris. Well, it's now or never...I can't believe that I didn't see she had a crush on me! She never acted like it though! She always treats me like a brother not a lover.
"Where's Phantom?" Cat asked absently, still half way stuck in his thoughts.
Fire shrugged, "He's probably asleep already. I'm more of a night owl than he is."
She chuckled, "He's not a night person or a morning person."
Alright, I have to tell her.
The blonde sighed, "Look, Fire, I read the Ladyblog and saw the video. I just wanna tell you that I think you're a really nice girl, but-" he was cut off by Fire's ubrupt laughter.
She thinks this is funny?!
"Fire-!"
The wolf girl grabbed the metal of the tower so she wouldn't fall off, "Are you-haha-serious?! Haha! Oh man, that's great!"
The green eyed teen huffed in annoyance, but couldn't hide his blush, "What's so funny?"
Fire took a deep breath, "Haven't you noticed? Ladybug is jealous! That was the plan!" She stood up on the railing and laughed lightly.
"Also, I know that you like Ladybug, who doesn't, but you have to find her in order to make her yours."
Cat's eyes widened, "You know who she is?"
Fire hesitated before nodding slightly, "Yeah, but if you payed attention to your nose more and didn't let love blind you you would know who she is too. There are perks to animal abilities."
She hesitated again, not looking at him as she gently tapped her claws on the metal of the tower, "Did you notice how clumsy she is sometimes?" With that, she left in a cloud of grey smoke, going over her plan again. This is going to be good. I bet they'll have both figured it out by end of the week, she thought smugly.
Cat watched as the smoke seemed to curl around the stars and disappear into the vastness of space. He sighed and rubbed his face, what was it that Ladybug always smelled like...? The black cat closed his eyes as he tried to remember, vanilla, cookies, cakes, all sorts of sweets kinda like she lived in a- His eyes snapped open.
"A bakery." He whispered, his eyes widening further.
"A BAKERY!?" He shouted and almost jumped off of the tower, everything clicked into place. She was late on the days they had a hard night of patrol, she seemed sore some days, unexplained bruises. They had the same hair, the same blue bell eyes, the same height. Both were brave, passionate, loving, helpful, and so many other absolutely amazing things.
My lady is my purrincess! A giddy smile crossed his lips, in truth, his feelings for Marinette had been changing. She was so familiar in a way he never understood, now he did.
He laughed as he raced home, not caring if he woke anyone up because he'd found her, he'd found his lady.
