>> Harumi's POV <<

I was attacked by a familiar shota the moment I walked in through the grand doors of a certain club.

"Umi-chan! You really did come!" Honey exclaimed, tackling me around the waist and cuddling me like some kind of stuffed animal. I pat the top of the senior's head affectionately, staring at the smiling hosts and irritated guests," Duh. Onii-san told me to show up after all." "I honestly didn't think you would though." Haruhi commented, blinking twice with a small frown," I figured you'd want to stay in and rest after your trip home yesterday." "What? And get hassled by Dad about what's been going on over there before he went to work and left me all alone?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, walking right past her; Honey had snatched my hand, and was already chanting to his customers that I had arrived and was going to join him for cake. She let out a sigh, realizing that I didn't want to be stuck in our apartment," Alright... Just don't annoy anyone, okay?" "What? Me? Annoy?" I asked with an innocent tone, resting my arms on the back of the large, crimson chair Honey and Mori were stationed at. I took notice of some of the uneasy glances the ladies were shooting me, before I shot her a smile that matched my facade," Why Onii-san! I can't believe you'd accuse me of ever doing such a thing!~" She shot me a glare, our Wonder Twin Powers activating. I could literally hear her scold me in my mind,' You don't want to get into trouble with Kyoya. Trust me on this one, okay?' I rolled my eyes, waving my hand in a lazy fashion,' Yessir!'

"So, Harumi, what kind of music do you play?" One of Honey's customers asked, nervously brushing her fingers through her long, light chocolate locks. "Mostly rock and covers." I replied, taking a sip of the lavender tea that Mori had offered me," But really I'll do any style if I'm paid the right amount." "Do you make a lot of money being a musician?" The girl beside her - one with pig tails - asked with her head tilted to the side. "Depends on the gig." I answered, but noticed the confused looks on everyone's face. I stared at them for a few seconds, just wanting to get them a little more uncomfortable,' Ignorance is bliss indeed...' "When I say 'gig' I mean show or concert." I explained to them, and saw the shine of understanding glisten over their eyes. I wanted to facepalm, but ended up keeping it to my mental self. "Sometimes I'll get asked to play for some kid's birthday party, other's it'll be a fill-in for a no-show band." I shrugged, tucking some of my loose bangs behind my ear before readjusting today's jelly bracelets of orange and purple and Jack Skellington leather band," But when you've got a job like me, you can't be too picky about who your customers are." "Eeehhh? Even if the person's really mean or something?!" Honey whined with an adorable pout, hugging onto my arm and leaning his head against my shoulder. If looks could kill, I probably would've been seven months dead by now. But I ignored it, ruffling up his soft hair gently," Well yeah. Sometimes you gotta work with people you don't like, you know?" "Umi-chan's so strong!" He grinned, and I couldn't help but grin back.

I'd really hate to break this guy's hopes...

"Hey, Harumi."

"Yeah?"

"You brought your guitar, right?"

"...Well, yeah. Why?"

"Why don't you play something for us?" The twins asked, both leaning over my shoulder and holding my lavender guitar case; I painted silver crescents and black bats all over the thing when I was six. I raised an eyebrow, looking at the two," You want me to what?" "Well, you're a musician!" Hikaru said, pressing his left cheek against my right. His brother mimicked him on the other side," And musicians play music to make their customers happy." "Why should I play for you?" I asked with a bored expression, my fingertips playing with the zipper lines out of habit and pressing against random notes in my head," I don't go to school here or have any part of this club so I don't see how that benefits me." "It could benefit your brother." Kyoya called out to me, and my eyes met his own for a moment when I realized what he was talking about. I had heard that my sister had broken something stupid and very expensive, and was being forced to work here in order to pay of the debt. My eyebrow raised again, but this time, it was towards my sister... and with an idea. I closed my eyes with a sigh, pushing myself away from the devilish twins. My crimson rocking horse shoes make a slight 'thunk' when they met the tile beneath me," ...Sure, I'll play. For a price." "How much?" Kyoya asked with a slight smile," I hope you'll be resonable with us." I shrugged lightly before looking around the room. I pointed at each person with a small frown," Normally tickets for a tiny thing like this would be around ¥1033.4, so judging by how many people are in the room..." I smiled brightly, resting my hands on my hips as I exclaimed loudly," My price is ¥3100.29!"  I could see the thought that went through everyone's head, and couldn't help but smirk in victory.
