"Is she okay?" Lily asked in a whisper as she sat next to her mother, her father scanning Rose's body for damage.

"Hm." The Doctor said, staring at the screen in front of him. "There's a lot of damage to her body, but I think she'll be okay. I just need to get her in there." He said, pointing to a big silver tube. "Stole it from a planet that's advanced in its medical technology. It'll heal almost everything at a cellular level. She'll be sore, but not hurt."

Lily helped her father to lift her mother into the tube. The Doctor closed the lid. A bright light lit up inside of the tube.

"She missed you." Lily said quietly, as they waited.

The Doctor sighed, rubbing a hand down his face. "I wish I had figured it out sooner."

Lily sighed. For all this time, Lily had blamed her father for not being there. But seeing him now, she realized it was not his fault at all. She dropped all of the blame she held for him. If he had a way, he would have returned years ago. If he had a choice, he would have been in her life. "There's no way you could have known. I used to blame you, but I see the truth now. You would've been there for me if you could've."

She saw her father's eyes tear up slightly. "You are so gorgeous, Lily. I'm so proud of who you are."

Lily didn't respond. Instead, she hugged her father.

"I forgive you, dad. I forgive you."

"Rose?" The Doctor said softly to his wife as she slowly regained consciousness.

Her eyes peaked open. "Doctor?" She said, disbelief clear in her voice. Her eyes absorbed the man in front of her, completely astonished to see him again.

"I'm here, my love."

Rose's eyes teared up. Her daughter came into her view. "He remembered, mum."

Rose closed her eyes, feeling overwhelmed. When she felt the Doctor's hand in her own, she let a few tears escape her eyes.

"You came for me." She whispered.

"I always will." The Doctor said softly to his beautiful wife.

The recovery road was not an easy one. Rose was damaged from losing the Doctor. But the three of them soon became a family once again. Of course, all was not perfect. Rose was years older than she had been before. Her time with the love of her life had been shortened. But she knew everyday for the rest of her life, she would spend with her husband and their daughter.

So this is the end. I have spent so long focusing on this story, from book 1 to book 2. I know it's somewhat gone downhill, but I truly hope you all have enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. However, this will not be the end of my writing. If you enjoyed this book, I'm sure you will find one of my other books to be interesting. Please do check some of them out.

If you ever need help with your own writing, feel free to contact me.

I love you all
