Hoseok drug me into my small dorm on campus. I was lucky enough to have the whole dorm to myself and got to decorate it myself. The walls were your typical white but it was covered in pastel paintings and a few band posters. Plants were scattered all over, resting on any open surface. It wasn't much, but it brought me some comfort. I flopped onto my large bed and stared up at the glow in the dark stars stuck to my ceiling. They seemed childish but I liked to look up at them on those sleepless nights or just for when I wasn't feeling good enough to get up out of bed.
"Next time we meet up, if you feel bad, you're allowed to bail on me. Just so you know." Hoseok smiled as he sat down on the end of my bed. I sighed and looked at him.
"I was feeling ok when I left." I grumbled, upset that today was not going as well as I hoped for.
"It's ok. I'll take care of you now if you want."
"Oh no." I sat up with wide eyes. "It's ok, I can take care of myself really. Don't worry about me." He slowly reached over and felt my head, gasping a little when he felt the heat radiating off of it.
"Too late. I'm staying whether you like it or not." He stood up and went to the small kitchen area I was blessed with. I layed on my side and watched as he rifled through all of my cupboards looking for a bowl to fill up with cold water. He looked back and smiled over his shoulder at me as the water from the sink rushed into the large bowl. He grabbed a washcloth and then walked back to my bed. He placed the bowl on my bedside table and then gently placed the washcloth on my flaming forehead.
"It's ok to ask for help you know," He whispered as he stared at me in total concentration. "You won't be able to take care of yourself when you're this hot." My cheeks flamed even more at his words. He must have noticed.
"Oh I didn't mean in that way I meant when your body is hot. That doesn't sound any better, I mean when you're hot because of a stupid fever, or-"
"It's ok Hoseok," I giggled out as I saw a light red dusting filter across his tan skin. "I understood what you meant the first time."
"Ok, would you like something to eat? I'm not much of a cook, but I could try to make you something or even go out and buy something if you want."
"No that's ok. I'm actually feeling kind of tired."
"Oh right, I'll let you sleep then." He smiled and began to stand up. My eyebrows furrowed at his actions. I didn't want him to leave just yet. Before I could even think about what was happening, my hand shot out and grabbed his wrist.
"Wait," He looked down at me, eyebrows raised. "Do you think you could stay here? I don't want to be alone." He instantly smiled and nodded. Slowly his wrist moved out of my hand until our two hands were connected. He gave a slight squeeze before letting go.
"How about I make you some chicken noodle soup while you sleep. Sound good?" I nodded as he went back over to my kitchen. I smiled as I heard him humming and chopping up vegetables. My eyes grew heavy, and before I knew it I was asleep, surrounded by pastel pink waves and pastel purple clouds. A happy place that I can only ever visit in my sleep.

I was suddenly awoken with a sharp pain in my stomach. I groaned and stood up as quickly as possible. Dizzily, I stumbled over to the bathroom where I fell to my knees in front of the toilet. My body heaved but nothing came out. Tears burned my eyes and I coughed. This was a common occurrence in my dorm. Waking up from a deep slumber with stomach pains, running to the bathroom where nothing will come out. The discomfort in my stomach keeps me from eating, but it's also the cause of my late night bathroom trips that only leave me in tears and more pain.
More heaves rack through my body causing my throat to burn even more. I was startled when I felt the hair curtaining my face move back into a gentle hold.
"Shh," Hoseok was behind me, holding back my hair and rubbing my back. "It's ok. Do you need anything? Water? food?"
I shook my head no and just sat my warm head against the cold porcelain of the bowl, trying to find some kind of relief to the fire raging inside of me. My body was hot, but I still had goosebumps making the bumps already there more prominent.
"Ew lets not do that." Hoseok chuckled as he began to lean back and sit on the ground, pulling me backward between his outstretched legs. "Let's just calm down a little bit and then we can go back to bed, ok?" I nodded as he ran his long fingers through my tangled hair. My tears slowed as I embraced his warm hold. I calmed down much quicker than expected and before I knew it, I fell asleep in his arms on the bathroom floor.
